This is an awesome B&B! I would definitely recommend it to others. We came to the area for a girl's weekend getaway (lots of wine tasting). The location, hosts and amenities were great. Only a short drive to Hood River. It was a little on the chilly side so we didn't get to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked to but it was ready for us. The hosts were very prompt replying to our emails and messages and proactively offering updates due to the fires in the area.

Nice place in a beautiful setting. A bit noise of the road. The second bedroom ceiling was too low. Very friendly and helpful host.

Respuesta de David & LaVonne:
The Pool House was designed with a "child-sized upstairs bedroom with twin beds" intended to be used by children sleeping upstairs in a room separate from but adjacent to their parent's sleeping space. On the main floor a queen size futon with accompanying bedding is available for adults who prefer more headroom and privacy than is available in the upstairs "children's bedroom".

The Pool House could not have been a better getaway spot for my friends and I. We make an annual trip to Hood River for beer tasting, whitewater rafting and relaxation and this year was especially memorable due to our choice of where to stay! David & LaVonne are fantastic hosts and their property is like no other we've found in the area (or anywhere for that matter!) We can't wait to come back!

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, aged 5 and 2.5) enjoyed a lovely visit here. David and LaVonne are wonderful hosts and we had a great time running around and playing on their scenic property. We enjoyed the pool, taking hikes and playing with Max, their black lab. The house was well-appointed with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was well-stocked. We wanted to stay longer and were all sad to leave. We are already planning a return trip.

This location is beautiful and the accommodations at the pool house were very comfortable. We came here for the eclipse, and stayed an extra day to enjoy the pool, and the hike from the pool house past the Mosier Falls swimmimg hole and up the Mosier Plateau Trail to the hill-top above the pool house. We were a party of 5, two 55+ and three early 20's. Although the listing says 1br 1 bath, the upstairs has two rooms separated by an open passage-way, with a queen in one room and two twin beds in the other, plus a futon downstairs in the livingroom. The full bath is on the main floor off of the kitchen and living room. The space accommodated us well, and we did not feel at all crowded. There is air conditioning for the warm part of the day, although the night breezes through the window were very nice. There's a large deck above and surrounding the pool with great views, a great place to relax. David and LaVonne could not have been more welcoming and were very flexible when our plans changed on short notice to add two of our son's friends to the itinerary, and to add an extra day on the end of the booking. Highly recommended. I would come back in a heartbeat.
