Eithinog Hall is cool, relaxed and far more than your average B&B. Our luxury Cedar en suite room is dramatically decorated from floor-to-ceiling in midnight blue.

The en suite bathroom features a graffiti-tiled ‘walk-thru’ rainfall shower and the pièce de résistance has to be the grand, freestanding stone bath with a view to die for!

Explore our 15-acres of private woodlands, gardens and two-mile stretch of the River Banwy, perfect for cycling, walking, fishing and more...

El alojamiento
No strangers to the hospitality business, your host Jane and her sister, Laura – ensure there’s a relaxed, inviting feel to Eithinog Hall. You can enjoy home-cooked food and appreciate their eye for creative design at this boutique-style B&B. The woodland surroundings, and the occasional passing steam trains of the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway give the place a special atmosphere.

Midnight blue lends a seductive mood to the huge "Cedar" ensuite room, with super-king bed plus some notable artistic touches to enjoy too. Look out for Modigliani on the walls and the surprising graffiti-style shower in the bathroom, along with a fireplace toilet, old-style penny-slot weighing scales and another magnificent free-standing stone bath. Colourful furnishings including a sumptuous king-size bed give this suite a real edge, and the views – right in front of you as you soak in the bath – are unmissable.

All our rooms have bathrobes, slippers, luxury toiletries and high-quality bed linens.

The location is pretty unbeatable too, with the south of Snowdonia National Park just 45 minutes west and the Shropshire Hills a similar distance to the east. The stately home and gardens of Powis Castle are less than 10 miles away just outside Welshpool, while nearby Glansevern Gardens extend to 25 acres on the banks of the River Severn.

Acceso para huéspedes
Breakfast & evening meals are served in our grand, chandelier-lit dining room with cosy wood-burner in the marble fireplace.

You can enjoy our gardens and walk in our 12 acres of private riverside woodlands rich in wildlife.

When the sun shines, take breakfast in the two-acre country gardens – a delight in spring and summer.

Otros aspectos destacables
There are no TVs in the rooms – unless you specifically request one.

Evening meals are available on request and by prior arrangement.

Enjoy the great outdoors all year round at Eithinog. Our 15-acre grounds are comprised of private woodland and a two-mile stretch of the River Banwy, perfect for cycling, walking, fishing and more. In Spring, our ancient woodland bursts into life with a breath-taking display of birdsong, bluebells and wild wood anemones. Wild garlic and blackberries follow shortly after.

But whether it’s Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, there’s always a bounty of flora and fauna to be discovered. A veritable haven of wildlife, local residents include: Owls, woodpeckers, red kites, buzzards, herons, kingfishers, dippers and otters – to name a few!

Offering 12 months of fine game fishing, the river is a fly-fisher’s paradise. With a mixture of deep pools and fast, challenging runs, it holds a good head of wild brown trout, the occasional late-run salmon, as well as grayling – the lady of the stream.
