Summary: 10 on a scale of 1-10 Details: Business brought me to LA for a couple of months over the Summer and I thought it would be fun to live on the beach. Andrew's place lived up to every expectation and more. The beach is literally right out the front patio door, communication was perfect and the unit was darling. It's an older building with great character, from the well maintained hardwood floor and crisp white wainscot walls and linens. Just a perfect way to go from business guy during the day to beach-bum every evening upon returning home. I enjoyed my time thoroughly and couldn't recommend this property more highly!

Booked a studio for a contractor working out of our Santa Monica office for a month, and it could not have worked out better for the price and location. Easy access to the beach, cleaning service and BBQ patio area were all perfect.

Fantastic communication and instructions by the host. Everything is really clear and any questions get answered quick. Place: clean, breezy, beachy kind of vibe. Small (as the ad mentions) but well done. Ikea linens, basic kitchen supplies. Location: couldn't be better if you want the beach - it's literally on the sand. There is a path that runs from the doorstep of the property to Redondo and a lot of cool canyons nearby if you're into biking or running. Parking is tricky down here and the 10 is a parking lot on nice weekends when everyone is flocking to the beach Getting around: walk across the foot bridge to Ocean Ave and you're 15 mins from groceries, 5 from liquor store, 10 from 3rd street Promenade and shopping. If you're using Uber, I'd suggest catching them from Ocean Ave. Palisades Beach Roads can be a pain to access during bad traffic so the Uber drivers won't show. That, and you'll save money and time.

Location is amazing! Apartment is bright and cozy with a beach vibe. Has all the basic needs and lends itself to an outdoor lifestyle. Neighbors weren't often seen, but polite when encountered. The PCH noise can be obtrusive, but it quickly becomes background/white noise that's easily tuned out. Not having guaranteed parking can be anxiety-provoking, especially with construction going on directly next door and several doors down, but for the most park I almost always could find street parking. There are multiple day beach parking lots within walking distance. Let's face it, everything in Santa Monica is walkable from this location, even the Metro Expo line to Union Station- a definite bonus. I'd definitely stay here again if the chance arises! :)

Fabulous location - clean home - great sheets and beds, right on the ocean, amazing hosts - and amenities. I couldn't have gotten a better place for the price and location. The hosts were great and always a text away. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was great and although small. the apartment was sufficient. The host was very easy to communicate with and took action when sudden construction building became an issue for me. It was dealt with promptly. I recommend this to singles, couples and small families.

The apartment my husband and I stayed in was small and had a vintage look to it. The bathroom was tiny, but none of these things bothered us and moreover the place was clean and the bed comfy. The location of this house is just great! Right on the beach and a 5 min walk to Ocean Ave where you have many restaurants and about 10 min walk to 3rd street's shopping! We loved it here and would go back again!
