Our home, Sea Rose cottage, is a light and bright, north-facing house set in a fully fenced, rambling fynbos garden. Sea Rose overlooks the RAMSAR recognised Bot River estuary in Fisherhaven, near Hermanus. It's only 100 km from Cape Town city centre, and 92 km from Cape Town International airport. Golf, beaches, mountain biking, bird watching ... there's plenty to do in our area if you have your own transport and aren't afraid to take a drive.

Otros aspectos destacables
Sea Rose is surrounded by open areas - and open areas in Africa mean that there will be wild life. In Fisherhaven that's mostly bugs, bees, spiders, snakes, chameleons, birds, horses, tortoises ... If you're very lucky you'll see the local wild horses, caracal, porcupine etc. Please exercise the usual care when engaging with your natural environment.
Please bring your own beach towels.
If you need a sound track for your holiday, please bring along your own playlist and device. Or use the DSTV music channels on the TV.
The usually dry summer in the Cape is often accompanied by fresh south-easterly winds, and winters invite north-westerly gales and rain. Cape weather isn't boring! Sea Rose faces on to the estuary so, from time to time, high-winds, especially in winter, can be dramatic and impressive.
Please, NO smoking, and be aware of our neighbours. Fisherhaven is so quiet that sound really travels! This is our home and we hope you enjoy the space as much as we do.
Durante el período del 10 de Diciembre de 2017 - 10 de Enero de 2018 la estancia mínima es de 7 noches.
What do I like? Fynbos and organic vegetable gardening, family and friends, my ridgeback dog, beautiful vistas, mountain biking, food made from scratch, snow skiing. I love Italy, and jazz, and wholesome healthy food. I like to have a light, clean and airy home that isn't too hot, or too cold, that's energy efficient, and has comfy beds. That's the kind of accommodation I seek when I travel.
