El alojamiento
**We take the health and safety of our guest very seriously at the Gehlen House Inn. We have updated information in the Other Things to Note section of this listing to include our COVID-19 policies and procedures. We want to make sure our guests are comfortable with their stay, so please take a minute to read them prior to booking your room.

The Gehlen House was established in 1848 by Peter Gehlen, an immigrant from Olm, Luxembourg. The house is built from native limestone quarried from the hills around the village of St. Donatus. Over the years the Gehlen House has served travelers and the community at large, having been a post office, a road-side tavern, and a doll museum. In it's current capacity, the Gehlen House is an inn, providing six private bedrooms with a shared living room, kitchen and upper deck.

Diekirch is a private bedroom at the inn with a queen bed and full bathroom, across the hall. It boasts a four-poster bed and has a beautiful ambiance.

A full breakfast is not provided, but we will offer individually wrapped breakfast items for your convenience. Kalmes restaurant is currently offering take-out meals most days of the week and may also be doing dine-in services at the time of your stay.

Acceso para huéspedes
Guests have private bedrooms with locks. All guests have access to the kitchen and living room shared areas (see additional information regarding COVID-19 precautions in the Other Things to Note section). There is a small deck off the kitchen providing entry to the second floor.
**The kitchen is a shared space that includes both a microwave and refrigerator. We ask that guests wash their hands prior to using these items to help with mitigating the potential spread of germs. Disinfecting wipes are also available in the kitchen. For protection of our guests, we will be providing only individually sealed food items at this time. We are also providing disposable cups and silverware. Please do not use the dishes, glasses, or small appliances stored in the cupboards.

My husband, Don, and I enjoy traveling and we are excited to be able to offer space in our guest house to others. We are new owners of the Gehlen Inn and have been updating the property to combine new and old to bring our guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a beautiful historic space. We are in the process of renovating the barn at the rear of the property to provide space for small weddings and events, and to house our future microbrewery.
