Otros aspectos destacables
Built in 1812 for British Prime Minister Jenkinson, the house has played host to many famous names throughout its history. Lord Wellington was entertained here during the Waterloo campaign and the house has been owned by the Wordsworth family, Lord and Lady Apsley and the Duke of Beaufort. In its more recent incarnation as a 5 star hotel, it has welcomed famous names such as Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson, Edward Fox, Christopher Reeve and Hugh Grant. The property has also been featured in a number of TV programmes and films.
We expect our guests to respect the house as they would their own.

Lively and outgoing, easy to talk to and willing to help. My degree is in music but I work with property and love to design interiors. My current project is Robyn, my vintage caravan. I live with my husband John, Hermione and Oliver my children and a variety of animals including a peacock.
I love classical music (and lots of other kinds too), love cooking and disappear into a book whenever I can. Our houses are self-catering but they are really special and although welcoming and homely, they give you a sense of country party atmosphere.
'Do as you would be done to' is my life motto.
