A Boho chic getaway as cozy as it is groovy in Chicago's craft beer and cocktail lounge Mecca, Logan Square. Easy access to downtown and O'Hare via the Blue Line or Milwaukee Ave. bus.
Like my other AirBnB, this apartment was designed by up-and-coming interior designer Tara Rhode. This one is in a Boho chic style with a combination of Moroccan and East Indian accents. One bedroom is a double bed and the other is a twin and a trundle. All of the beds have new memory foam mattresses. The kitchen has a stove and refrigerator, but no dishwasher. The kitchen table seats 6.
It's an old building so there's not central AC, but there are window units in each of the bedrooms.
There's a little deck on the back and a grill on the top floor which can be used on the deck up there. There's a nice view of the city skyline.
Disponible para huéspedes
There is a laundry room on the top floor of the building with two washers and dryers that each take quarters.

Across the street from the building is a popular bakery called La Farine. It's open from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday - Saturday, 8 AM - 6 PM Sunday. There's a very good taqueria across the street, too. A little further north is Moe's Tavern, a slice of "real Chicago." There's a little grocery store across the street that opens early and closes at 8 every day. A couple of blocks further is a Polish grocery store with lots of smoked meats and fresh sauerkraut, pickled herring and pickles. There's a 24-hour convenience store, Food Smart, at 3415 W Diversey Ave, a couple of blocks from the building. 2333774

This is a non-smoking unit but feel free to smoke outdoors on the deck or sidewalk. No pets please.
I don't really interact with my guests, not because I don't want to but because I've set it up so that guests can come and go on their own, and our paths don't often cross. My studio is in the storefront of the building an sometimes guests stop in when they spot me in there. Most of my guests, though, are very independent.
I'm an artist who has lived in Chicago since 2002. My studio is in a building I bought in the old Polish neighborhood on Milwaukee Avenue. I've turned one of my apartments into an AirBnB as an experiment in August 2013. I like to stay in AirBnB's whenever I travel around the country for my public art commissions and painting exhibits.
