A substantial stone farmhouse, that has been extended to make a house full of character, charm and interest. Five communal areas inside and 2 acres of garden with new natural swimming pool, allows you to all get together or break off into groups. Stroll around or play in the extensive gardens with mature trees. The two patios and a balcony all have fantastic country views. There are good pub/restaurants in the nearby local villages and Shrewsbury and Welshpool are within easy driving distance.

El alojamiento
The house and grounds are a fantastic location for large families or groups of friends who appreciate the countryside outdoors but also like the home comforts. The house is spacious even with many people, as there are large communal rooms. The fact these are located around the property means there can be fun and games in one room at one side of the house and complete solitude in the other.
The house has carefully restored features, as well as new tastefully complimentary designs too. The furniture is carefully chosen to be both practical and sympathetic to the rooms they are located in.
The large communal family kitchen is the centre point of the house, with two more kitchens available!
Outside the gardens are like a park, with old oak, beech and walnut trees as well as spruce, pine and maple. In 2020 a large (20m x 14m) natural swimming pool was installed. Planted around the swimming area are lillies, iris and lots of other plants that naturally filter the water without the use of chemicals. The health benefits of swimming in natural water are well documented. There are two patios, one to the side and one in front of the conservatory, both with ample seating. There is also a balcony to the rear. This truly is a property inside and out with character, space and lovingly cared for.
There is a large Weber BBQ, and Hausman Smoker for guests use. There is a chimenea on the patio and a fire pit on the balcony for sitting out and gazing at the stars in the light pollution free sky.

The South facing house, has been extended over the last 35 years yet retains and enhances it’s family farmhouse character and traditional feel.
The maintained gardens surround the house with rockeries, borders and mature oaks, beech and maple trees. The gated gravel driveway runs to the front and side of the house providing plenty of parking and turning space.

During Summer the greenhouse and fruit garden are planned to produce fresh herbs and fruit which guests are welcome to enjoy.
The extensive grassed areas around the house provide abundant space for outdoor games.
