This comfy room is located in a nice older, homey, lively and quiet home in Missoula's Westside neighborhood, close to downtown (5-10 min drive/bike), to the airport (10 min drive), the river, Open Space trails and more.
A lovely homebase to enjoy your visit from!
Please check out my original guest room listing for a number of lovely guest reviews.
This second guest bedroom in my home is a good-sized (150 sq ft) lovely bedroom on the second floor. It has a south-facing window, natural wool carpeting, is furnished with a full-sized bed, a desk, chair, shelf, and the room also has a walk-in closet and dresser with drawers to store your clothing and personal items. The room is upstairs, down the hall from my bedroom, and is nice and private. You would walk up the stairs to the room and/or back down to the bathroom, living space and kitchen on the main floor. It gets warm in the summer, and also cool in the winter, and I'm happy to offer a fan (summer nights) and supplemental space heater (winter) as needed.
The bedroom and full-size bed sleeps one or two (plus there is space for a travel crib, pack-and-play, sleeping pad or air mattress for your child or friend).
Your home base during your visit: This nice, older 3BD cozy home has a large common living/dining room, great kitchen, and shared bathroom on the main floor shared with myself and other guests, depending on schedule. The house has good light and character and there is a nice backyard, with flower, perennial and vegetable beds, a lovely patio, garden table and both sunny and shady spaces to relax and enjoy your stay. During gardening season I'm happy to share some garden produce with you :)
There is also basement storage if you are bringing camping or other travel gear that you would like to stow away during your visit.

You are more than welcome to share and use the kitchen, cook, prepare and enjoy meals. I like to cook and bake, and if our schedules allow, maybe we can share a meal if you like. I am happy to make recommendations for grocery stores, markets, and Missoula eateries too.
Please feel free to enjoy the comfy living and dining room, and share the backyard (in the sun or shade) and garden patio, it makes for lovely warm summer evenings and nights and garden dinners.
Atención a los huéspedes
I am very friendly and happy to welcome you, share a cup of tea or other, and to give suggestions for getting around, Missoula happenings, and share travel advice for the Missoula area and your travels. I am happy to help when I can and also enjoy my quiet time when I am home, so you will have as much privacy as you like.
My schedule is kind of busy, and especially in the summer, I'm out and about more enjoying time outdoors, so we might not see each other every day, but please do reach out with any questions and I'd love to help make your stay most comfortable.

Hello. I am a Missoula transplant and Missoula has been my home for 14 years. I have previously lived in the SF Bay Area, S. Arizona, Los Angeles, and in Ireland, and am born and raised in Northern Germany. I have traveled a lot in the past, mostly in Europe, also in North and Central America, and look forward to be doing more of it again in the near future.
I am self employed as a Clinical Herbalist and Educator, and Bookkeeper. I am busy with life and work, and enjoy quiet home life as well. Summer, well most of Spring and Fall also, is my favorite season here, and I gladly enjoy hiking, being in and on the water, enjoying my community of friends, sharing good meals, a good whiskey, going out and staying in, dancing, reading, and so much more. I am happy to share my home and look forward to meeting you. Enjoy your visit!
