Our cozy 2 room studio apartment is ideal for those who prefer the quiet of a residential quarter but want to remain near the heart of Grenoble. An easy walk to the station, GGSB (12min), and to tram lines A,B,C,and E (6-8min); close to St Bruno.
The apartment itself is small (27m2 or 280 sq ft), situated on the ground floor on a small one-way street. It is attached to the owners' home, but has its own private entrance on the street. There are 2 rooms: a bedroom with one double bed, and a kitchen/salon with a sofa which could be a day bed in a pinch. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, including a full sized refrigerator/freezer.
Utilities (water, electricity) are included for stays of 3 months or less. Longer term rentals include only water. "Taxe d'habitation" is paid by owners for rentals of less than 6 months.
Disponible para huéspedes
Guests will have access to the whole apartment. The owners live right next door.
Atención a los huéspedes
We are happy to interact with our guests as much (or as little) as they like. We are fairly available, and will do our best to answer any questions, head you in the direction you want to go, and share what we know about cool finds in the neighborhood and beyond.
Please let us know about what time you intend to check in and check out. When you leave, please do leave the appartment as you found it. Please wash any dishes if you've used them.
A few more things...
No loud music
No pets (but exceptions can be made for small, quiet and well behaved animal friends)
No extra overnight guests without advance notice

Grenoble is for lovers. And families. And skiers, shoppers, nature lovers, sheep... We are still discovering all it has to offer. A Franco-American family of four transplanted to Grenoble in 2009, we feel lucky to be here, a haven for outdoor lovers, a dream for skiers and a decent crossroads for diversity, business, and culture... tout a la francaise. We specialize in keeping our kids entertained and exercised so we are happy to advise in that area.
Before coming (back) to France, between the two of us, we've called several cities home: Los Angeles, Tokyo, New York, Hartford, Mimizan, Paris, Brest... But for now we are pretty content to be in Grenoble for all the region has to offer, not to mention being just a stone's throw from our favorite weekend road trip destination, Italy.
