The main house has two bedrooms (king + queen), two bathrooms, a den, living room, kitchen, and separate dining room that seats ten. One of the two private sleeping cabins is the original homestead house. It is the oldest building in the area, remodeled as a sleeping cabin with a queen bed. The cozy Bunkhouse cabin has a double bed.
Outside, enjoy the back porch, the 'lookout lounge' which overlooks the town of Joshua Tree and the national park, a hot tub, a cowboy tub, a yoga deck, a horseshoe pit, a barbecue area (gas & charcoal), great hangout spots, and more boulder piles than you can explore in a weekend.
Just off the back porch is over 200 acres of pristine desert for you to explore. Nothing but boulders, Joshua trees, wildlife . . . and silence!
A scenic walking bridge takes you to a new six person saltwater hot tub surrounded by boulders - a stargazer's dream!

As longtime desert enthusiasts, we have stayed at many rentals in the area and noted the many things that we appreciate in a good rental experience. Finally ready to make the commitment, and after an extensive search, we found this uniquely wonderful property to make our own. After two years of developing and nurturing, we have made it available to share with others seeking a sublime hi-desert getaway.
We have travelled around the world, but it's the hi-desert that keeps calling us back. We mostly split our time between here and LA, where we both work in the arts.
