Most perfect little campsite. Beautiful area, views of the Smokies all around. Electric and water at the campsite, awesome cute bathrooms. Plus the owners of the ranch are SOOO nice. Horses and cats on site! Would recommend to anyone.

For an off the beaten path experience, you can't go wrong with A.J's (and Doug's) place. Tucked at the base of Cherokee National Forest, Meadow Creek offers a quiet field surrounded by trees for primitive camping (water spigots and electric outlets are available), a cute and very clean bathhouse up the hill, a swimming pool (great after a day of hiking), a cafe which serves very reasonably priced and delicious meals on weekends, hiking trails from the camp ground, and very friendly and most helpful staff. And they have horses available to rent for trail rides up into the mountains. Lovely views abound from the porch of the cafe. I highly recommend A.J's place.

I had a wonderful time camping in the TN mountains! The hollow was quiet and private, bathrooms were clean, and the hosts were generous. They made sure I found the campsite when I arrived after dark, suggested hiking trails, checked on me, and offered alternate accommodations if I got too cold. Overall it was a peaceful getaway from the city!

This place was perfect! You're camping down in a valley that has water and electric outlets! The property is beautiful and is perfect for a fun weekend getaway! A.J. was so helpful with everything. They told us about everything from hiking trails, distance to cities and places to eat! There is a bath house with hot showers and toilets and sinks! We loved our stay and have already talked about when we will come back!
