Our spacious home is three stories and features many beautiful architectural details unique to the area.
The house has 9 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. So everyone has their space. There is also a large, sunny living room perfect for enjoying an afternoon tea. And a spacious front yard and patio for sunny morning breakfasts or a glass of wine in the evening.
The room is large and gets plenty of natural sunlight. The listing includes a desk, a dresser, a large closet, an ironing board and iron, a full-length mirror, and a shoe rack.
The bed is comfortable and can fit two people easily.
There is a bright kitchen/breakfast nook close to the room, as well as a full bathroom shared by two others on the floor.
On the ground floor, guests have access to the main living and dining areas, as well as our fully-equipped kitchen.
There are also a washer and dryer available for guests to use.
Our home is very international and very friendly. We represent a diversity of backgrounds, languages, and countries. In the evenings, you might see several of us gathered in the living area drinking tea and hanging out. And it isn't rare for us to have dinner together after cooking our separate meals. We love to invite our AirBnB guests to join us.
But we also understand that sometimes people need their space. The house is very large, and we like to keep things quiet. So it is easy to break away if you prefer some alone time to work or study.
This is an LGBTQ friendly house :)
Dupont Circle is one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in the city. It is known for its art galleries, museums, restaurants, cafes, bars, and nightclubs.
The house is located on a quiet, residential street. Yet the action is just a block away. We have a great coffee shop just around the corner, and a world class art museum (the Phillips Collection) just down the block. Rock Creek Park is 4 blocks away and is DC's largest park and green lung.
On Sundays there is a large FreshFarm outdoor market by the Metro Station, 3 blocks away.
Dupont Circle is centrally located. You can walk to the White House, the Smithsonian, the tony shops of Georgetown, or to the hip 14th/U neighborhood.
There are also several downtown buses that stop just a block from the house. The main crosstown bus is 4 blocks away. And it is 3 blocks to the Dupont Circle Metro Station on the Red Line.
Additionally, DC has a bikeshare program. There are several bikeshare docks near by the house.
