My comfortable quiet but centrally located flat is ideal for visiting the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Located in the upcoming trendy area of Leith. Walking distance into city centre and many bus routes within 2 minutes walk. Loads of cafes & bars. It is my home most of the year and so it does feel like a home rather than just a commercial enterprise. You should feel free to explore the book collection as you wish. I cook quite a lot and so if you do the same please replace anything finishes.
Self contained apartment with own front door of common staircase. The cost shown in the pricing is for 2 people using the flat, however if you wish to use it for 3 or 4 people as there is the sofa bed then we will need to renegotiate a new cost of an extra £15 per person. The flat has a separate double bedroom with a separate small shower room with toilet and wash basin. The main living space looks out over the common garden garden space which is accessible for visitors. The kitchen is small but has all necessary equipment if wishing to eat in or even to entertain friends. It is normally my own home so feel free to use it like it were your own place too. There is a separate TV and wi-fi access to use online TV services for channels not available on the TV.
Disponible para huéspedes
Secure shared garden space is accessible from the common staircase. There is on street free car parking in the area although it is usual that you may not get parked close to the flat.
Atención a los huéspedes
I will not be present during guest stay but available if needed at short notice if I am in Edinburgh and if not there will be contact details of several local friends in other parts of the building and adjoining buildings..
Otros aspectos destacables
The gas and electricity are on a pre pay system but it should have sufficient amounts on both for your stay, if it should run out then it can be topped up at the local Scotmid shop just around the corner, money will be in a safe place in the kitchen should it be required. The central heating is on a timed system but can be set to constant if it becomes cold.
None really except keep clean and if anything is used in the kitchen try and replace or leave a note for others.
I am originally an architect/urban designer. I now administer a charity which delivers large community regeneration projects in the deprived areas of Edinburgh.

I like reading a lot and the flat has quite a lot of books and feel free to read them.
I cook quite a lot and if you use anything from the cupboards please just replace.
I use the buses in Edinburgh a lot and they are very good and cheap and the flat is extremely well connected into the very centre of town..
Locally there a lot of new cafes and bars open quite late at night, Boda on the corner is very good and has music or other events most nights.
My favourite city is Barcelona, my favourite country is where i have my permanent home France. I love sea food especially mussels, prawns and monk fish. But my favourite meal is steak au poivre.
