I loved staying at Guilia's place! It is only two minutes walk to Sacre Coeur and many other attractions.
During a two-week trip to France recently, I stayed at four different AIRBNB accommodations. Guilia ranks as the most considerate hostess that I experienced. She was always trying to be helpful to make my visit more comfortable and pleasant, without being intrusive. I stayed my last two nights in France with her, and one night she fed me some of the splendid minestrone soup she had made from scratch (it didn't hurt that she's Italian by birth!). Her apartment is bright and colorful, cheerful and comfortable, and peaceful. I was happy to have a separate room all to myself, having slept on a sofa bed in one accommodation and on a bed in a mezzanine for another. The living area is charmingly arranged; the shower is large and luxurious; and there was always a teapot with various teas within reach on the stove!
It was also very easy to communicate with Guilia.
One word of caution: Montmartre never sleeps, and there is noise on the street all night long. I found that using earplugs reduced the noise greatly, and I was able to sleep fine. The only suggestion I might have for my gracious hostess is to put a mattress pad on the bed (which is thankfully very large), so that it is not so firm and hard.
Thank you Guilia! I was very pleased with my stay and felt fortunate to have found your flat.
