This clean, quiet third floor apartment is well situated in a good neighborhood and well equipped. The only item we sorely missed was a simple coffee making device, like a Melita cone or French Press. The only option is a complicated coffee pod system for single servings with no pods! :( We got by with "cowboy coffee" in a sauce pan.
The apartment is nice, but shows a lack of attention or caring management. Minor, but annoying, were non-working roller shades (both) in the main living/dining room, and two of three windows with broken suspension ropes, so opening the windows is a big hassle.
The set screw on the bathroom sink faucet had fallen out onto the tile sink top, so the handle barely worked, with practice. Similarly, the kitchen faucet is quite loose as well, crying out, like the windows, for basic maintenance.
The worst inconvenience, however, was the fact that the off site absentee (inattentive) manager, (Guillaume) made no arrangements for clean DRY linens and towels, as the hired non-English speaking cleaning person is not engaged long enough to run the wash and DRY cycles long enough to produce dry items. They are simply left damp and hanging or folded wet in the apartment! We took our holiday time to dry and fold this stuff. That's not okay, especially at $200+ per night!
Others have mentioned some of these things, but we assumed that they had been addressed by the time we booked or stayed. Sadly not, so the host simply shows his indifference.
So, too, with communication. He (who is Sarah? No trace anywhere but photo) responded to our inquiry about ground transport from Gatwick, by giving advice on Heathrow! Replies were too few and too late.
