With ocean views from every room, the Spouter Inn Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful Colonial-style home built in 1832, all located directly across from Lincolnville Beach. Our eight guest rooms all offer private bathrooms, some with Jacuzzis, and of course a full, gourmet style breakfast. Restaurants, shops along the beach, and the ferry out to Islesboro are all within walking distance.

El alojamiento
Because of the third floor location and front to back design of this room, it is the most spacious of all of our rooms and offers breathtaking views of Penobscot Bay, the nearby state park mountains, and the backyard gardens. Along with a skylight, the bright and airy sunlight during the day and stargazing at night, create the optimum means to enjoy your stay. The king size bed shares considerable space with a reading nook and generous conversation area. Guests will appreciate the private bath with its sizable shower and Jacuzzi tub. But the unmistakable mark of this room is the Juliet balcony for two, overlooking the backyard, the gardens, and the rich, vibrant sunsets.

On a ship, the crow’s nest is a perch at the top of the main mast, for the look-out to monitor views of land. If weather prevented visual of land, a crow was let loose from its cage and the ship navigated after it, on its search for land. Doesn’t sound like luxury living, but this room is named such, simply due to its location on the highest level of the building, thus providing the most picturesque views.
For Centuries, the chart room was the location of chart storage and reading, as the Captain and crew navigated the seas. Less needed on modern ships, as computerized techniques are used.
