Sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of Perch Pond from this well appointed 3,000 square foot home. You’re walking distance from downtown Chatham (3/4 mile), White pond (a swimming pond – ½ mile), and public basketball and tennis courts (1/4 mile).

El lugar

There are many special places in our house that we love to be, but it has to be said that many of them have to do with our rear vistas of Perch Pond. Most of our warm weather evening meals are enjoyed on the screened porch overlooking the pond and wetland.

Disponible para huéspedes

The spacious master bedroom features a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the pond, a large walk-in closet, and master bathroom with separate shower stall and Jacuzzi tub. Full central air-conditioning keeps the home comfortable for you and your family at all hours of the day. Leave the towels and sheets at home because all the linens you will need are provided.

Otros aspectos destacables

When we first moved to Chatham, we lived in a classic Cape cottage that was located on the very property we own today. As our family grew, we made the decision to build our new house on the location we fell in love with, alongside Perch Pond. A day trip to Nantucket put a few design ideas in Helen head which I translated into some rough drawings for my friend, colleague, and local architect Greg Kelly. The old cottage was sold to a young history teacher from Harwich for $1, and he moved it to its present location in Brewster. By the time our youngest was born in 2003, our beautiful pond side colonial was ready for us to move in, and we've been enjoying every since.

We had a great stay. The house is charming and very well-equipped. Sean was very friendly and responsive. An excellent choice for a relaxing week on the Cape.

Sean offered his wonderful home for our 4th of July vacation and we couldn't have been happier. Quiet neighborhood with beautiful views from the porch where you can grill or stick to the screened porch for board games on a rainy day. You're close to anything you need and can take the bikes out for further trips! A great added bonus is the clear swimming pond just walking distance from the house. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Chatham getaway and would absolutely come back again.

Great house with plenty of room for a family with 3 teenagers. Traditionally decorated with a beautiful view on to the pond at the back. Perfectly located for reaching all parts of the Cape. The boys enjoyed the basement pool table and table tennis. Chatham can be very busy, but if you don't fancy taking the car, it is walkable. There are good restaurants and a good local market for provisions. Beach towels & chairs etc. provided was great for us. The info Sean left about the local amenities was very useful.
