Our beautiful 4-story townhouse is in popular Seven Dials, close to some great cafes, restaurants & gastropubs. It's a short walk from both the station & the beach. Contemporary design throughout. You get the whole top floor, complete with en suite.
Our delightful 4-story Georgian townhouse has large windows and a neutral decor that gives each room a bright, airy and spacious feel. As designers and art lovers, we have collected many objects from our travels. As such, it’s a great place to soak up the Brighton vibe and explore this wonderful city.
The ground-floor hallways leads off to a cosy sitting room. There’s a large flat-panel TV, Playstation, and Bowers & Wilkins speaker system - all of which you’re more than welcome to use. We have a modest collection of art and design books, so feel free to browse. The ground floor also contains the main bathroom, with a separate bath and shower.
The lower ground floor houses a modern kitchen with two ovens, a gas hob, a large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The small utility room to one side houses the washing machine and dryer.
We’ll leave a selection of teas & coffee, bread & pastries, jams, spreads and juices out in the morning for you to help yourself.
The kitchen opens onto a dining room and sofa area, perfect for entertaining. If you need to get some work done, there’s also a small home office with an Apple cinema display. Patio doors lead to a two-tiered garden, perfect for eating your breakfast on a sunny Sunday morning.
The First Floor
The first floor houses our bedroom, along with a smaller, spare room.
The Top Floor
The top floor is all yours, and consists of a light and airy bedroom with plenty of space to relax. There’s a comfy double bed, a Conran designed sofa and en suite shower room. The large window affords a great view across the brighton rooftops, with black-out blinds ensuring a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep.
We’ve provided a variety of local guide books for you to use, along with books like Brighton Rock which was set in the area.
For entertainment you have a wireless HD projector, Blu-ray Player, Freeview box and a Bowers & Wilkins speaker system to enjoy.
Disponible para huéspedes
The lounge and main kitchen/dinging area are shared. Guests are free to use the entire house, with the exception of the first floor.
Atención a los huéspedes
We love meeting new people and showing them the delights of Brighton, so would be happy to introduce you to the local area. However we also respect our guests privacy so are happy to give you as much space as you want.
We work during the week and are usually out and about at the weekends. We also travel a lot, so there's a good chance that you'll have the place to yourself for much of your stay.
We want you to feel relaxed and at home, so we don't have too many rules. For instance, we're happy for you to help yourself to any of the staples in our kitchen, but please consider replacing stuff if you use it up.
There's no smoking in the house, but you're welcome to use the garden.
Please try to avoid getting mud on the stairway carpets, so it's probably best to take your shoes off whilst inside.
Please respect our neighbours and try to keep the noise down after 11pm.
Please ensure all the windows are closed when you leave and that both the front and back doors are locked.
Andy runs a design agency in Brighton, and has lived here for over 15 years. I work for a lifestyle and fashion magazine in London and moved down around 5 years ago.
We love the relaxed way of life in Brighton, with its independent coffee-shops, restaurants and boutique stores. We also enjoy being close to the beach as well as the beautiful Sussex countryside. So you’ll often find us going for walks at the weekend or enjoying a quiet pub lunch.
I practice Yoga and Pilates, and we've both just started bouldering. We also enjoy movies (art-house and blockbusters), comedy and the occasional gig.
We make regular trips to London for modern art exhibits, theatre shows and events like Secret Cinema. We're also big foodies, so love sampling the many great restaurants on offer.
We both travel for work, and enjoy spending time in cities like New York, San Francisco, Copenhagen and Paris. We try to take a couple of proper holidays each year, to places like Thailand, Mexico or the US. Andy used to be a Dive Instructor so likes to sneak the odd dive trip in every once in a while.
We’re very relaxed and easygoing. We love exploring new places, so if we’re staying at your’s, we won’t be under your feet very much. Likewise if you’re staying with us, we’ll make sure that you feel welcome, whilst giving you your own space.
That’s probably enough about us for now, so we look forward to meeting you soon.
