I am sorry you had a number of issues. It would seem that you clearly had not read my listing, house rules and other notes, including the section on 'limitations', as there it is explained in absolute honesty and clarity the sort of accommodation I offer, its location within central Brighton, and I point out all the pitfalls as I see them. If you had read my listing you would have known this in advance.
One main problem for your stay, as far as I was concerned, was the fact that it was not possible to communicate with you via the Airbnb website on the day you checked in, and whilst you were here. You did not bring a phone or computer with you, so informing, updating and checking with you, including giving very accurate directions to my house and how to find me, was impossible and very frustrating indeed. I had no clear idea when you planned to arrive, and received nothing from you at all!
As you will see from my listing, notes, and feedback from previous guests my place is 'spotlessly clean'. I clean the Airbnb room and all the shared areas before 'every' new guest, so I have no idea what you are referring to.
With regard to any 'home improvements' if you had read my listing and notes fully, you would have seen that I list everything that I cam currently updating, and want to update, since my parents passed away and I took over the house.
I am disappointed you did not read my listing or acknowledge the lengths I went to to make your stay comfortable, as I do for all my guests!
It is extremely rare for anyone to complain, and I suggest you maybe consider a hotel next time!
