Pelican Watch #604 is equipped with all the amenities you are accustomed to at home, PLUS the tropical setting. It is located on the gulf-front sixth floor, and entry is just opposite the elevator. Central air conditioning is available, but should you desire to have the ocean breeze waft through, the front door can be left open and a secondary screened front door can be closed, yet it is louvered to protect your privacy.
Enter through the front door into a foyer/hallway. There is wall to wall carpeting throughout, with the exception of tile in the hallway and kitchen. Immediately to your right is a den/guest room with double sofa sleeper, 3-drawer dresser and credenza with pull-out stools.
Further down the hall on your left is the guest bedroom suite area, including linen closet and full bathroom. This bedroom has two single beds, night stand with lamp, double dresser and wicker chair, and ample closet space. The window affords a view across to the back bay. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination, and large quartz top vanity with lavatory. Back out to the hallway reveals the spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room.
The kitchen comes fully equipped, including coffee maker, glass top self-cleaning range, built-in above range microwave, side by side refrigerator/freezer with in-door ice and water dispensers, dishwasher, dishes, pots, pans, etc., and double stainless steel sink with disposal. The tray ceiling has indirect lighting and a ceiling fan. A large peninsula bar separates the kitchen from the dining area, with two bar seats. The dining table seats 4. Everything is available that you would need to cook daily multi course dinners, or simply make a pot of coffee in the morning.
Moving on the living room is nicely decorated and furnished, with flat screen TV. For your comfort there is a sofa and love seat, end tables with lamps, coffee table, and a comfortable leather recliner. Sliding glass doors lead to the expansive and well-appointed balcony overlooking the few short steps to the sea shore. At six floors up it affords awesome views of the beach, the gulf, palms swaying in the breeze, and a host of sea birds. This is also the perfect area to hit first thing in the morning, have a quiet breakfast, and then in the evening watch the ever-changing sunsets while sipping your favorite beverage. Before retiring for the night, you can even attempt to count some stars if so inclined!
From the living area you enter the master bedroom suite with king-size bed, artfully decorated and furnished with end tables and lamps, overstuffed swivel rocker, and triple dresser with TV. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in closet, quartz top vanity with lavatory, and in a separate room is a walk-in shower and water closet. Sliding glass doors allow private access to the balcony.
Between the master and guest suites is the laundry room with washer and dryer. You'll be able to return home with suitcases full of clean clothes!
