Enjoy the best of both worlds: A beautifully restored 1906 farmhouse surrounded by its own eight acres of lush, private countryside, all within the city of Portland.
Complete privacy in a country setting, yet just minutes from all that Portland has to offer! Twenty minutes from downtown and the Portland airport, our farm feels like it's hours from any city. Wake up to coffee or tea in the huge, fully-fenced, and completely private backyard facing Mt. Hood, while the horses graze in the meadow just a few yards beyond and hummingbirds bathe in the multiple water features. The backyard deck is three levels, with comfortable wicker furniture on the first level, built-in seating and a recessed jacuzzi on the second level, and a dining table and chairs on the third level. After a day of sightseeing around Portland or hiking/biking right next door in Powell Butte's lush 600-acre nature park, take a long, stargazing soak in the jacuzzi, hang out around the fire pit for a s'more, then kick back on the extra-long sofa to watch a Netflix show before settling in for a great night's sleep on one of the luxury pillowtop beds.
The house is comfortable and inviting, and feels roomy due to the open-plan living area with vaulted ceilings and large picture windows. Smart HDTV/WiFi/Free Parking/Fully-Equipped Kitchen/Washer and Dryer. The main bedroom has a king Saatva pillowtop bed and the second bedroom has a queen Beautyrest pillowtop bed. There are also high-end airbeds. The library has a sliding door that closes it off from the main living area, with a sofa that includes a queen hide-a-bed.
In addition to the multi-level deck, jacuzzi, fire pit, gardens and expansive lawns, the yard has a 3-hole putting green.

Atención a los huéspedes
You will have the place to yourself. My two very friendly dogs (an English Bulldog and a Bichon Frise) may be here and would love to hang out with you, or if you prefer, they can be boarded off-site. Your friendly, housebroken dog is also welcome to visit along with you at no extra charge. There is usually a caretaker for the horses, but he uses the pasture gate on the other side of the barn and won't disturb you.

Everyone who visits our farm says, "You have a real slice of heaven here... who would have thought a place like this could exist so close to downtown?" It's a truly unique, special place, and we love making it available for friendly folks who enjoy Oregon's natural beauty and temperate weather.

Please smoke or vape outside only. Before you leave, clean all used dishes/silverware and cooking utensils, place any used towels on top of the washer/dryer in the laundry room, and place any trash and recycling in the outside bins. While the horses are friendly and love to be fed and petted, they are older "pasture pets", so riding or attempting to ride them is a no-no.
