Beautiful scenery, delicious breakfast, Larry & Laura were so nice and interesting to talk to. Great value for a wonderful experience. We stayed just one night and were in the area for a wedding- we hope to come back soon to enjoy more activities like hiking, etc. Seems like a great place to check out the fall colors.

My boyfriend and I were in Middlebury for a wedding, and we stayed at the farm for just one night. We wish we could have stayed longer! The house is so charming, with lovely views of the land, and Larry was a kind, hospitable host. We arrived for check-in after midnight and he was very accommodating. 100% recommend.

I came to Vermont more than a dozen years ago, when I fell in love with this early farmhouse, the mountain location, and the fields below. As I tried to decide how to answer the inevitable “What do you want to be when you grow up?” question (the answer still eludes me), I apprenticed at one of the restaurants associated with Philadelphia’s famed “restaurant renaissance” while attending graduate school for cultural anthropology. Besides the B & B (and ongoing restoration projects) I teach Latin American Studies at SUNY in Plattsburgh, and raise polled Dorset sheep.
