I am The Man Who Builds Things. After Hurricane Katrina, that is what the neighbors named me. I was fixing and building everything. My wife, Jeanne and I have started this business called Gimme Shelter. We buy blighted properties, fix them with our own hands and rent them out. I hold numerous licenses in the building trades.
We love living in New Orleans. We volunteer for all the festivals and sporting events. We enjoy meeting tourists and telling them about our city and hearing about theirs. We travel as much as we can. We drive all over the country so that we can stop and explore. I play the guitar, the piano and the clarinet (a little). We are also big time animal-lovers.
