Our bright and airy studio is very appealing, with modern decor, bamboo floors, fitted, well-equipped granite kitchen, big picture windows with amazing views across the city and harbour, air con, security guards. A little gem, ideal base for two!

Free wi-fi and small desk for those needing to work. The decor is tasteful, stylish and contemporary - queen sized bed with crisp white cotton percale linen and plenty of towels. The views are awesome!

Guests have access to their own private parking bay just inside the security gates, a swimming pool and braai area at the opposite (top) end of the complex up quite a few sets of stairs, and the lawned garden area that the apartment opens onto.

I will interact with Guests as much or as little as they choose. Although I live 30 minutes away, I am contactable for any emergencies or assistance that may be needed. I love giving advice to help make your holiday as memorable as possible!
Otros aspectos destacables
The apartment is set back above a busy main artery into the city (De Waal Drive) so you do hear the traffic, day and night. If you want silence this is not the spot for you - but if you want convenient, vibrant, upmarket location, with great accessibility to all Cape Town's attractions, and don't mind hearing the sound of traffic, it is ideal. The water pressure in the apartment is quite low, which means that the shower, which is a wall-mounted one over the bath, does not have a strong jet. However, we have had not had complaints to date from guests. Just thought I should mention it!
Guests are expected to respect the neighbours and the property, not smoke inside, park only in the designated parking bay, be careful not to drag luggage with wheels on the bamboo floors, which scratch easily, use only the clothes horse provided for hanging washing - i.e.not above waist height, be considerate and quiet in the stairwell when returning late at night.
I am a music teacher and mom to an amazing son and daughter, both in their early twenties. I am passionate about Cape Town where I have lived almost all of my life and love to share it with visitors to our beautiful country. I am happy to meet with guests should they so wish, and am full of wonderful ideas, tips and recommendations to enhance your stay - some of these come from my "young adult children". We live about 30 minutes away in Noordhoek , which is very beautiful with a stunning beach, meadows, horses, vineyards, restaurants, but we love our little city apartment very much and enjoy spending the occasional weekend here ourselves. Cape Town is a fantastic city - I'd love to welcome you and see you fall in love with it! One of our previous guests bought an apartment in the same block while staying in ours, he loved it so much, so I can recommend with confidence!!
