Acerca de este anuncio
Welcome to San Diego: "America's Finest City". Enjoy coastal breezes, hot sunny days and cool nights. Quiet neighborhood. Central location: close to freeways, beaches, restaurants, shopping. We are an easy going family and love great conversations.
We do not have cable, but there is Satellite TV for French TV5 monde plus local and national channels and high speed internet. There is Netflix with hundreds of movies to stream. This master bedroom (183 sq ft) with queen size bed ( 78 inch (198 cm) long by 60 inch (152 cm) wide) for two people has its own large private bath (55 sq ft) (with b/tub and shower), desk/chair/closets/chest of drawers/reading lamps, etc. It is large, spacious, sunny with its own private access so guests are free to come and go as they please; it also has direct access to the large back yard and heated (104 degreesF=40 degreesC) spa. There is no Air Conditioning, but there is a ceiling fan, plus the house is always cool-even in the summer months.

Atención a los huéspedes
Andre is retired but is always busy. Chandra works at home in her own separate private office. We have lived in the same house and neighborhood for over 27 years and are very very familiar with all of San Diego. We have a wealth of information to offer to our guests, if needed. Do not be shy to ask. We like to socialize and are very easy going; we can do as much or as little as required.
Otros aspectos destacables
We have road and mountain bikes if our guests would like to use them-free of charge. We also have tennis rackets and free public tennis courts are very close by. The gourmet kitchen has everything one needs to whip up whatever dish necessary. The large back yard is totally enclosed. Eating out in San Diego is very varied and quite affordable and sometimes it is easier/cheaper to eat out than cook.
Linens, towels, beach towels, bath robes, bed room slippers, shampoo/condition, hairdryer, iron, etc. are provided. Mini fridge, m/wave, coffee maker in room for your personal use and extra privacy. You can ask for anything else you need-for any occasion. We've lived in the same house or 27 years (and San Diego) so we have everything you can possible want to make your stay very very comfortable. The spa is heated year round 104 degrees F (40 degrees C). There is an outdoor fire pit for those "cool" summer nights. Bring light sweaters for when the sun sets-it cools down quite a bit-especially in winter.
We are energy conscious and like to conserve our natural resources: water, gas and electricity and we would appreciate it if our guests do the same. We recommend that guests do their laundry between the hours of 6 P.M.- 10 A.M. We also have a compost and recycle almost everything. We are very responsible, clean and organized and expect the same from our guests. Children are allowed and must be under their parents/guardians control at all times. It's fine to bring a small pet, but it must be compatible with our cat Theo (who sleeps during the day), and guests are required to clean up after their pets. There are ashtrays outside for smokers.

I live with my husband Andre and teenager daughter Anais. You will be sharing our home with us. Our sleeping quarters are upstairs in our two-story home. I work part time at home in a separate private office. Andre is retired but still very active; he is the French Honorary Consul in San Diego. Anais is in high school. We are recognized and respected members of the French community in San Diego. We are a very friendly, easy going French-American-Trinidadian family. We speak French and English at home and love looking at French TV via satellite. We love travelling and go to France and Trinidad often, as well as travel in the U.S. We love sports: tennis, biking, hiking, swimming, walking at the beaches and bay, sailing... I especially read a lot, practice yoga and meditation, going on my treadmill, lifting my dumbells. We are a responsible, clean, organized family. I believe in preserving our precious natural resources and saving the planet-one person at a time.
