Very nice hosts with lots of knowledge of the local area. Very helpful with arrangements. Over all a plus! Very dusty area. Easy to get to and get local transit. Great people, made our stay enjoyable

As you were the first client of the season and the house was closed for many months we are sorry that you had problem with some lighting, and also that the cable company had changed during the summer the cable was off waiting for us to redo the actual contract with the new provider. The bathroom shower is made of pure concrete, and have spots I assure you that is not dirt but the potts are pure cement and concrete that was not Well mixted when we polished they came out.

really nice apartment in a good area. We felt safe the whole time. Our taxi driver had a lot of trouble finding it though so definitely print or take a picture of a map before hand. the concierge with the key to the house lives right across the street which we didn't initially know so keep that in mind as it was a bit confusing for us. Corinne was really accomodating and helpful though.

We stayed for 8 nights at Corinne's unit, and enjoyed Bucerias greatly. Though Corinne was not in Mexico during the time of our visit, she was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Either she would resolve our issue, or her neighbour Maria would stop over to ensure everything was handled. The description of the unit is exactly as written; quaint apartment in a local setting. However, as first-timers to Mexico we were unsuspecting of a few aspects. For example, there are gaps around the steel frames to the doors leading into the unit - therefore, expect to find small animals and insects. But this is not within the control of the host. However, one thing we weren't aware of is Corinne's policy to only provide one towel per person. If you plan to stay for a longer period, you will need to bring extra or head to the laundromat. The unit is located on the other side of a highway, away from the main tourist area of the city. You get to experience more of a local culture in comparison to the more commercial tourist streets. This neighbourhood allows you to experience local markets, fish vendors and other businesses which is a way to discover other cultures.

We stayed at Casa Azul for one week with our 15 month old. We did not have too much trouble finding the place...luckily our driver had (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps! Maria greeted us and was so helpful the whole time we were there. We really enjoyed the neighborhood. Everyone was so friendly and was great for our son to interact with the children. Although we loved the neighborhood, we found it very challenging to stay at this place with our son. This is not an apartment for an adventurous baby. It is very small with no doors to rooms to close off hazards. We had no running water for 2 days. The fan in the bedroom only runs on a 60 minute timer so you wake up in the middle of the night to turn it back on. The neighborhood was very loud at night. We enjoyed it but could imagine it would be hard for some people, especially children. In general, we liked the neighborhood a lot but would recommend this place for a single person or couple, not anyone under 2. The apartment is close to transit and delicious restaurants. It is definitely not a 7 minute walk to the beach - more like 15 minutes at a very brisk pace and not carrying lots of beach gear. The bed is comfortable but very small. There are minimal amenities provided.

Thank you for your comments I would like to answear a few for The next guests. All guest should read that a major water pipe Broke in Town and It took 2 days to repaires, and that I sended my mother and our concierge to Provide more botte water. About not having doors It is as shown on The listing pictures, It Is a big open space with The bed room a side and It is a double bed size. About The fan, I Will have to ask about The fan you had in there It is not ours, We Never had one that We had to restart after 60 min.??? We have a ceiling fan in kitchen and stand up fan on a base.?? For The walk going to The beach? Going thrue jacarandas street wich is at The corner, then you cross The 200 hiway go strait down to The beach, wich is 7 min walk. If you went all The way to estaciones streets wich there is more to see and Buy, yes It takes 10 to 15 min walk. We are glad you enjoyed the people around, and yes there is noises evening nigths as The kids play soccer in The streets, and mexicans live outside, and They do not expect a sorry We are noisy but expect you joining them and live like them.

We were at Casa Azul for 38 days. It was cozy, clean, and secure. Some low ceilings in the bathroom and dim lighting could be a hazzard if you are tall. We loved our Mexican neighborhood experience: enjoying hearing children at play, meeting and interacting with the friendly neighors (Maria, Flavio, and family), and hearing the local bread, ice cream, and bottled water men come by. We enjoyed being off the tourist path, with short walks to the beach, easy access to busses, local tiendas, a tortilleria, a laundry, and an ATM. While we were able to see all of Corrine's and Luis's listed properties, and could recommend them all, upon arrival we were not sure that Casa Azul was very well prepared for the long term renter. The hosts were given specific feedback about what could make the apartment more convenient and complete, and they seemed very open and receptive to our suggestions. We wish them well and much success with all of their properties.

Thank you for your suggestions It is very hard to maintain our house from a distance. Mexican are not reliable and constant. Their priority are not The same and We feel that We have to adjust ourself The way They live and think, in The mean time copy our north americain way of living in Mexico is impossible to reproduce. We know The best would be having some one there to welcome the guest and Provide what They need as every one has different need. In a few years We Will be there. Thank you so much to tell exactly how It is and that you liked It.

We were welcomed by Maria and Flavio who were responsive and there to help with the glitches we found. They came to our aid quickly and with good humour. We recommend arriving with a map and instructions in Spanish to give the driver at the airport. Even with a map the driver had difficulty as there is not a street name posted and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) cannot find it. Recommend using #27 Otono as the place mark for (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). This is written on a fence at the end of the street and is where you turn up to the apartment. Case Azul is not a place for a 6'2' person, as some lights, and walls in places are perfect for bumping into.
