A truly lovely cottage to relax in. The island is beautiful, a place great to explore. If you drive (which is a good idea) check the ferry schedule because there are limited windows to get on and off. The host is so kind and accommodating.

Vjekoslav met us on the street in Zman where the bus dropped us off from the ferry in Zaglav and walked us to the house. He is very friendly and warm and his English is decent. The house is beautiful and clean and a 5 minute walk downhill to the beach and village. There is no wifi in the house but both restaurants in the village have free wifi. There is a beautiful place to sit outside the house to eat and enjoy the scenery. The neighbors were loud two of the three nights we were there. Their outdoor patio is right next to ours and the large bedroom is pretty noisy only when the neighbors are eating outside on their patio. The only way to cool the large bedroom is with windows open bc there is no AC in the large bedroom (there is a unit in the small one) and there is no fan to drown out the noise. Otherwise, the neighborhood and the village is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We were happy to use the umbrellas there in the house to walk into town as July apparently is the hottest month and it was very uncomfortable to walk around without the umbrella over our heads. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little off-the-beaten-path-village. Not many tourists here. The beach is in the village and there is some shade along the "concrete beach" where you can lay on a towel to enjoy the beach.

Vjeckoslav, his home, and Zman were all completely lovely and the highlight of our visit to Dugi otok. Vjeckoslav met my husband and I on the main road and guided us to his home, which is a restored centuries-old stone villa. The villa is a relaxing space where you can cook dinner or a convenient walk from the market and restaurants where Zman residents will welcome you with a smile.

The house is perfect. Vjekoslav was here to welcome us with great kindness. The small garden is great for relaxing and taking some food. We have free access to bicycle and canoë. Overall very nice atmosphere. A small and sympathic restaurant is five minutes walk away. A very nice place to stay, and overall we can highly recommend this place.

The location of the house is perfect for enjoying the proximity to Zman's lovely fish restaurant and small but well loved beach, as well as for visiting lovely Sali to the South and idyllic Sakurun beach to the North (get there early to get a parasol or take shelter!). The accommodation was basic but we really enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with sea views and watching the bats! We got eaten alive by mosquitoes so definitely take repellent if you're visiting in the summer. Communication was instant and Vjekoslav came to meet us to help with the off road parking. He also lent us a dingy for our son which was a massive hit so thank you!

What a nice airbnb experience! Vjekoslav waited for us when we drove into Zman. The apartment is great: an old Croatian stone house with plenty space for the three of us. There is a big garden with olive threes and a beautiful place to sit and relax. Vjekoslav is a very frienldy and helpful host with a great sense of humor! Thanks so much for everything, Vjeko! He was also very kind to our daughter. He even arranged a child seat for one of the two bicycles. At the harbor of the small lovely village of Zman there is a two seat Kayak for nearby exkursions. And not to forget, Dugi Otok is a beautiful island. Overall we can highly recommend this airbnb apartment.

Quiet, nice atmosphere, within the village - a lovely place to stay from a lovely host. .. ot: mosquitos occure due to weather/rain conditions around the Mediterranean sea. To avoid m.coils or e-gadgets, travelling with a mosquito-net is a pleasurable alternative. During evening use light long sleeved clothes or/and m.repellent of choice ...
