A lovely and bright studio inside an apartment. Fully self-contained with mini cooker, shower and washing machine and dryer. Multi-channel tv. The apartment is 7km from the city centre. Excellent bus and train service to the city nearby. High Speed wi-fi, beside M50/N4 motorway, Parkwest Train Station. Airport 20 mins drive away.
This is one of two self contained studio rooms in this property. It has a private bathroom and mini kitchenette with cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine & dryer, so there is no need to share anything with anyone. The kitchenette is only suitable for making tea/coffee or doing some very light cooking. It is not a full kitchen so is not suitable for preparing big meals.
The entrance into the property is shared by the two studios (which are beside each other in the property), to gain access into your own studio room.
There is free fast wi-fi and cable TV.
The location is very accessible, beside motorways and public transport, making it an excellent base to explore Dublin and the rest of Ireland. There is a regular bus service (2 mins walk away) into the city centre every 15 mins, and only 5 mins walk to Parkwest train station which brings you quickly and comfortably into the city centre (Heuston station) in just 8 minutes! From here you can walk to all major tourist attractions (The Guinness Brewery, Kilmanham Gaol, Phoenix Park, The Zoo, Dublin Castle etc.) or connect with the Luas tram rail system to the main shopping streets; Henry street, O'Connell street and Busarus bus station, and Connelly Train station (for the Dart Rail system).
The Studio room consists of:-
1. Four single beds (bunk)
2. Small ensuite bathroom consisting of shower, sink and toilet.
3. Small kitchenette with mini cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates and cutlery, washing machine and dryer.
4. Free wifi internet
5. Washing machine & dryer
The bus stop to get into the city centre is only 2 mins walk from the apartment, it takes 30 mins on the bus (off peak) to the city centre and costs 2.70 euro, or the train takes only 8 mins and costs approx. 2 euro. Very comfortable and fast ride into the city, highly recommended!

The apartment is about 5 miles (7.4 kilometres) outside of the city centre but is very accessible by all forms of transport. Stay here if you are looking for a quiet place or base to stay, but want to be accessible to the city centre (by train and bus), close to the airport (about 20 mins drive away via M50), beside motorways (M50 and N4) and be accessible to visit other parts of Ireland because the train goes quickly into the city centre (Heuston Station) in only 10 mins, connecting with Connolly train station and Busarus bus station via the Luas tram.
To get to the airport from Heuston Station, you can take the express airlink bus 747 direct to the airport (40 mins).
During off peak time, the bus goes quickly into the city centre in 30 mins. But I highly recommend taking the train as its a really good regular and quick service (journey time 10 mins) and especially during the peak rush hours to avoid the heavy traffic.
During the day monday to friday until 6 pm, there are some small shops (Spar mini supermarket, Off License, Pharmacy, Doctors, Gym) open in the Parkwest Plaza, which is 5 mins walk from the apartment. There is an ATM cash machine in the Spar shop for your convenience.
Lidyl is the only late opening supermarket. They close at 10 pm. Its about 20 mins walk from the apt. Located on Ballyfermot road, dublin 10.
If you come late and are tired and hungry (which is normally the case after all the travelling!), then I highly recommend going to eat and relax with a drink in the bar and restaurant at the 'ASPECT HOTEL' in Parkwest, which is just 5 mins walk from the apartment, just past the train station and on your left hand side. Serves a la Carte menu until 9.30 pm. The bar is open until 11.30 pm weekdays and 12.30 am Saturdays (11 pm Sundays). You can also book to have breakfast with them the following morning if you don't have any shopping done!
In addition, the HOTEL offers a lot of TOURIST INFORMATION, train and bus timetables, booking for the official hop on, hop off Dublin city sightseeing tour bus, and you will be be to meet other holiday makers staying in the hotel and local area, so its really worth a visit!
The cheapest local taxi company is ASAP taxis, their number will be written down on the fridge door for you. They charge only 30 euro to take you from the apartment to the airport when you go (but always confirm the price when booking).
Alternatively you can download the mobile taxi app called 'Uber' and book a discounted taxi ride, or order from 'Hailo' app and the taxi will come to pick you up from anywhere you are (your location is automatically detected by satellite so you don't even need to know the address).
During your stay, if you have an injury or physical problem such as spained ankle, back pain etc. please let me know. I may be able to help as I am a qualified acupuncturist registered with the ACI (Acupuncture Council of Ireland). You can find out more information and get my details on their website. I can also treat mental and emotional imbalances, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues such as IBS, infertility, insomnia etc. Please ask me if you would like to know more or book a treatment in my clinic in the city centre.
Enjoy your stay! Lina

No shoes worn inside the studio please. There are some guest slippers in the hallway for your use if you wish.
No loud noises.
No house parties.
No unpaid guests.
