High on a hill, this 1877 Gothic Revival Victorian overlooks Staunton and the mountains. Light-filled, airy and quiet. Property backs up to Woodrow Park, which leads to the Sears Hill pedestrian bridge and downtown. Beautiful views of the city.
This old house is undergoing a complete renovation. The two-story apartment is recently finished and ready for guests. A complete kitchen and living/dining area are on the first floor with a large covered porch. Upstairs includes a 4-piece bathroom with jetted tub & two-person shower, laundry, walk-in closet and balcony with mountain views. Did I mention the jetted tub?

My husband and I love restoring old houses and are working on an 1877 Victorian in Staunton, Virginia. We live in Maryland but travel to Staunton often to work on the house and enjoy the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Rus is a carpenter and is using his skills to revive this old house. We created an apartment in the Victorian, separated from the rest of the house, and have been using it when we are in town. We love Staunton with the pre-Civil War-era architecture, fun restaurants, art galleries and antique shops. And that says a lot about us - history, art and good food are some of our favorite things! We always travel with our dog - Iggy - and yours would be welcome at the house too. We are excited to welcome AirBNB guests to our house and believe you will thoroughly enjoy beautiful little Staunton and our cozy apartment.
