Our converted barn with exposed stone walls & stripped floors sleeps 7, is fully equipped with WiFi, outdoor area & 2 bathrooms. Located in a small village in sunny rural France close to markets, walks & cycle tracks, castles, wineries & transport.
The house is open plan in design. It is a converted barn with stone walls and stripped wood floors. On three levels it has two entrances and two bathrooms. The first level is open plan living with a new fitted fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), a dining and lounge area. There is a Petit Gaudin (wood burning fire) for those winter evenings, wooden shutters and pull down fly/mosquito screens on all windows. On the second level are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and semi-ensuite and the other with two single beds. On this level is a large landing area with sofa and desk, for an extra space to relax. The third (mezzanine) level is up a steep and narrow set of stairs and has a double and single bed and a balcony looking down over the second level sitting area. The house also has a patio area with BBQ and outside table and chairs for those lovely warm summer days and balmy summer evenings. It is fully equipped with everything you may need and is situated in an area purposed to be the sunniest in France, rich in history, with stunning landscape, interesting walking and cycling trails and lots to see and do for all ages.

Otros aspectos destacables
The house holds a large file on things to see and do. There is also a Tourist Office located on outskirts of the village as you turn off the N116. The village has a Post Office and a small shop where you can buy fresh baguettes and croissants and most other daily essentials.
Please note that there is no parking at the house as we share a driveway with the neighbours. Parking is available within a short distance, however you can park below the house for short periods to unload/load when you arrive/leave or to unload shopping.
We appreciate guests treating the house as they would their home. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
When leaving the property at the end of the stay, guests are not expected to clean the house but we would be grateful if everything is put back as it was, dishes are washed and put away and that the garbage is emptied.
I love reading, walking, going to the beach, movies, art, festivals. I enjoy relaxing and eating with friends and family and visiting new places.
