This is Midtown space that is currently available for rent mostly to international graduate students (most of whom attend Georgia Tech). Basic furniture (bed, dresser), kitchen w mini-oven. Near MARTA bus&train, across from Old4th Ward Park. Shared utilities.
**UPDATED: in response to concerns about cleaning, we have hired cleaning service to take care of any items AFTER move-in, since "clean" to some may be different from "clean" to others. We'll get you the number to the cleaning service upon booking so that you can set this up before arrival, if needed (with photos of the area before/after) or you can work directly with them to take care of anything needed at the place upon arrival. Host will likely not be around at all, so this is the best way. ** Old 4th Ward is the hottest neighborhood in midtown Atlanta (just research it to see). This house is much older and set up for private occupancy: 3 private rooms; no common area except for the bathroom and the kitchen. Washer/dryer available in kitchen. Each room has its own heat and air conditioner (window unit). House is across the street from the famous Old4th Ward Park and is about 1 mile away from Piedmont Park. Search for info on those parks on the web; they are great for biking, yoga, walking, etc. and there are always cool events there. Exit house and go left to AMLI. Park is behind AMLI. House and rooms are older (built 1920) and very modest. No frills; nothing fancy. The highlight is definitely the location, not the house. There is space available both upstairs and downstairs (separate, w separate kitchens). Upstairs: hardwood floors, avg size rooms. Downstairs: custom concrete floors, exposed brick walls, larger rooms.

Georgia Tech graduate student. Frequent traveler. Just got back from almost-month long quasi-backpacking trips to Ghana and India. So far, favorite travel destinations have been Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, Ko Phi Phi, Thailand (for Thai New Year), and Carnaval in Bahia, Brazil.
Very hands-off host. Be sure to arrange to see the space (inside and out) before booking so that there are no questions.
