This cozy 8x12 bedroom comes with a super comfortable and clean full-sized bed. I have everything you need to feel right at home! Clean towels sheets shampoo if you need etc. It's perfect for a single traveler or a couple looking to experience Brooklyn and NYC for cheap.
My apartment is small but has a big feel to it. There are wood floors and many artistic items to look at and to photograph. There are books to read, high ceilings in the kitchen and an amazing view with spectacular sunsets from my living room. The living room is also full of instruments, so if you like to play music, enjoy!
The neighborhood is vibrant and at times a bit noisy, but hey! This is NYC. I've lived here for 6 years and I love it. I consider myself to be a light sleeper and I hardly ever have problems sleeping at night. Also, the guest bedrooms are set in the back of the apartment away from the street.

Atención a los huéspedes
My apartment is active with cooking, jazz music and hanging out. I love the idea of cultural exchange and would love to trade ideas stories and get to know my guests. But over all, everyone needs their space and I am very aware and respectful of peoples schedules and privacy here. So far everyone has had a great time!
I use my apartment as a musical office. I compose practice and play music with jazz artists from around the city and the world. But I always put my guests schedules first and never play music before 11AM or 5PM. I also like to inform my guests in advance if I will be having a jazz jam session. In the past many people have stayed home to hear us play and have enjoyed it immensely! Any music lover artist or musician would really love it here.

My place is in a bustling neighborhood and it is an active apartment. I'm not advertising it as the Ritz Carlton. Guests should be prepared to interact with me and other guests. This interaction is the best part of Airbnb!
Keep in mind that when you use airbnb there is a direct correlation between price per night and location. If you have a problem with diversity and feel uncomfortable in places where there are many different races of people, I recommend you pay a little extra and find a place somewhere else to stay.
90% of my guests have loved this place and I have lived here for 6 years myself. The neighborhood is safe and awesome. I'm one block from the train and there are many nice restaurants, cafes, shops etc. all within walking distance.
NYC is one of the most diverse city in the USA and Brooklyn is the most diverse borough in NYC. This is why love Bedstuy. I love the culture, the energy, and the diversity. I'm looking for guests who are on the same level.
Guests must behave as if they were a roommate here: communication, respect, quietness, cleanliness and friendliness! No parties, No smoking, no pets and no kids! Extra Guests must pay a per night fee as stated on the site.

My name is Ian and I'm a professional jazz musician who's been living in NYC since 2009. I've spent the past 6 years in my apartment (which is super cool) and I've been hosting on Airbnb for like 2.5 years. Airbnb is great! I've met some truly amazing people here and would love to meet you!
I've traveled to about 33 countries as a backpacker and as a musician working on cruise ships so I definitely understand the needs of travelers and would love to host like-minded people who want to have a cultural exchange.
I love cooking, composing, performing jazz music, and exploring this amazing city. Brooklyn is full of "secret" places, I'd love to tell you about some!
If you like jazz or any kind of music and art this is a great place for you to stay. I'm a good resource for obscure travel tips and would gladly show you around. I'm also super respectful of my guests' space and needs so you can definitely get some rest and relaxation on the cheap side at my place. :)
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
