I am Sonia , originally from beautiful Costa Rica, I lived for thirty years in California and worked as a professional medical and legal interpreter. I have always enjoyed very much meeting people assisting them in any way possible.
After many years of working in California, I made a decision to go back to my roots (Costa Rica) and live a more relaxing life.
Pura Vida as they say here!
I moved with my son Conrad in 2002 and followed my dream by opening a Hostel so I could continue meeting people and share experiences!
Five years ago I started to welcome people to my home through Airbnb and it has been wonderful.
My son has moved back to the US and started a family, a sweet family and now I am a very happy grandma.
And my other son is in California cooking away!
So when ever I get a little chance I fly between US and Costa Rica to get my family fix !
But I make sure my awesome staff host my guest in the most accommodating way!
Hope to meet many of you in the near future,
