Our employee wasn't your host. Darinka and Nikola (Darinka's son) were your hosts. You were talking with us through email. Our employee was only there to give you a keys and to assist you with any problem that you tell to us or to our employee.
Bad smell in the bathroom! It's possible. When there is outside bad weather, there is probably bad smell in every bathroom in every apartment in Novalja. You send us email about that the day before you were leaving. At the same email you told this and I will qoute it now for other people to see:
"The holiday was fantastic.the apartment is good only tonight someone entered in home and stole money and sunglasses."
So, obviously, the apartment was good and holiday was fantastic, but now it seems that it was disaster?
If you told us earlier that and not on the day before you were leaving the apartment plus your story about burglary, we would send our cleaning lady to leak something into the drain.
Considering that our host speaks 'only Croatian'... He speaks english language just as good as you do. When you send us email that your money was stolen, we immediately called our employee who called his friend who speaks Italian language and that friend called you then. He told you that they will call the police to see what happend in the apartment. You refused. You didn't want to call the police. Why you didn't want the police to come and to investigate that?
There was no sign on the door that any kind of robbery happened. That means that you didn't lock the door or you didn't close the back door of the house when you were going out.
We also can't be responsible for the money of our guests. It's your responsibility. Something like that never happend before in our apartment. There are banks where you can put your money or you can take it with yourself. You are also responsible for our apartment and to lock the door when you go outside or to sleep.
When there is a severe weather and storm and rain nobody goes outside of the apartment. We're sorry that we couldn't stop the bad weather for you.
You say that the rain enters the house. It does not unless you kept all windows and doors opened.
Considering "stolen money". Taxi driver told us that you didn't want to pay the full price to take you to the Split airport because "you didn't have the money anymore because it is stolen". But he told you that he can't drive you for such low price to Split then. Imagine what happened then!? Suddenly you and your friends found some money and pay the whole price.
When you were arriving to Novalja we booked you a bus in Split for Novalja. Then you decided to take the Taxi. We sent you Taxi driver to whom we can trust and he gave you a ride directly to our apartment. We were always there for you and answering you as soon as possible to assist you. We were calling bus stations and our employees and Taxi drivers to give you the best service and you have the nerve to leave such awful review.
If robbery really happened (which I truly doubt) than I can only say that I'm really sorry about that. You must protect your money and you must also be responsible. Our apartment is in the centre of Novalja and it is not much different than other apartments including the type of doors and locks too. You didn't want us to call the police. You said that everyhing was fine and great until you came on this site with all the stories that are suspicious.
Also, we can't be sure that anything like burglary ever happened since you didn't let us to investigate that with the police and that is also very suspicious.
