Eller How House is the self-contained West wing of an unusual Regency Villa designed by the architect George Webster as his family home.There are many unusual features, from the ornate plasterwork in the sitting room to the collection of 'heads' holding up the ceiling in the master bedroom. You can explore the woods directly from the house and have access out onto the fell with magnificent views.

We are on hand to greet guests on arrival and to check that everything is all right. We live next door so can assist with advice on what to see and where to go or to have a chat. We respect our guests privacy and the house is completely self contained.

We usually offer seven nights only stays during the summer months of July and August. Autumn half term and Christmas and New Year bookings are for a minimum of seven nights.The start day is usually a Friday other times we have a minimum of four night stay. If the dates you would like are marked as booked, please send an enquiry to check.
We respect our guests privacy and would ask them to respect ours. We would ask visitors to show consideration towards our neighbours. To respect the country code. We allow up to two well behaved dogs for a small extra charge and ask owners to clear up after their pets and be aware that there is livestock in the adjoining fields.
The number of guests must not not be more than six (and a baby). The house is let for holidays only.
