The location is what makes our condo unique - easy access to everything. The bus stops at the end of the driveway and comes every 10 minutes with service to the mountain and to downtown (5-7 minutes in either direction).
We love to cook, and have equipped our kitchen accordingly. It includes a dishwasher, electric stove/oven, microwave, garbage disposal, crock pot, full set of pots and pans, baking pans/measuring spoons, a programmable coffee pot, mixer, and toaster.
The living room includes vaulted ceilings, a 47 inch HDTV with a DVR, a gas fireplace, and a door to the deck with a spectacular view of the mountain. It opens to the kitchen over an open bar. The bar seats four, and the dining table seats six. There is a propane gas grill on the deck for all your grilling needs.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, attached bathroom (shower/tub), and walk-in closet. There is a TV with cable access and a DVD player in the master bedroom.
The 2nd bedroom has two bunk beds with twin 8 inch mattresses on top and full 10 inch pillow-top mattresses on the bottom.
The loft (directly above the kitchen) has a queen bed and dresser set.
Linens are provided including 500+ thread count sheets for your comfort.
The second bathroom has a tub/shower. Each bathroom has a hairdryer for your convenience, as well as bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
Extra towels are stored in the hallway linen closet. The laundry room has a washer and drier, ironing board and iron, and three humidifiers for use in the bedrooms. Please enjoy the complimentary laundry soap!
Skis/boards can be stored in the front foyer or in the private storage unit across the landing from the front door.
Two community hot tubs are available directly behind the building (open November - April, 1 pm - 10 pm).

Our condo is located two blocks from the Core Trail, a 7.5 mile paved, flat trail that runs from Mt. Werner Street to beyond downtown. Bikes are available for rent from the Ski Haus, located on the other side of the condominium complex. Our guests receive a 10% discount on bike rentals, and 15% discount on ski/board/equipment rentals. The Core Trail goes past/through several parks and picnic areas, the botanical gardens, and the Bud Werner Memorial library. (sidenote: it is perhaps the most beautiful library I have ever been in, and a godsend for families with children. They offer a guest library card that allows you to check out 8 items at a time. There is also a return box in Central Park Square in front of La Fiesta for your convenience.)

We provide as much or as little interaction with our guests as they would like. We are always available for questions, and a property manager is in town for more urgent needs. We communicate by phone, text, and email.

After skiing at numerous resorts in North America and Europe, we came to Steamboat in 2012 with our two children. The snow was like nothing we had experienced elsewhere, and the family-friendly atmosphere hooked us. We started looking for property in 2013, and jumped at the chance to own at The Pines. We named it 'Uller Haus' after Uller (Ullr) the Norse god of winter, who is also rumored to be an amazing skier. We hope you love it as much as we do!

No smoking anywhere on the property, including balcony, stairwell, and landings.
Quiet time after 10 p.m. This is a quiet building, with many year-round residents. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10 p.m., keeping in mind that in our building sound travels through floors and walls easily. Thank you for helping us be respectful neighbors!
No pets allowed (homeowners association rules, not ours!)
Maximum occupancy: 8. At no time will more than eight (8) persons be permitted to sleep in the unit.
A 9.65% sales tax charge is included in all rental fees (5.75% City of Steamboat Springs, 2.9% State of Colorado, 1.0% Routt County).
Check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 10 a.m. Early check-in or late check-out by arrangement only, depending on availability. For check-out, please strip all used bedding and place all linens and used towels in the laundry room. Wash or place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher. If you have time, please start one load of linens, and run the dishwasher. Thank you!
