Because of the altitude and ocean-overlook, the temperatures are cooler than at the beaches (sometimes 10-15 degrees) and there is sometimes morning fog. Air conditioning is available but rarely needed. Adjacent to Marymount California University, a small campus whose cafeteria is available for guests during during academic sessions.
This is not a rental property, but is my residence with a bedroom made available for you while I work at home in another part of the house. I expect you to be as comfortable as in your own home and to care for my home as if it were your own home. There may be other guests in another room and bath. Please maintain the quiet and dignity of the house and the neighborhood. Ours is a smoke-free residence. I have a tiny dog that stays with me and rarely makes any noise.

I am a scientist-artist who discovered the power of the mind to heal physical challenges. I have been a medical hypnotherapist and mind coach since 2006. When my wife transitioned in 2015, I began renting my extra bedrooms. I have a very quiet, tiny dog named Bailey who mostly stays in my home office or bedroom. I have 5 adult children living elsewhere with 11 grandchildren.
As a stained glass artist I did several train stations in New York City and many churches and residences in Louisiana, the former location of my DazzleGlazz studio. As a computer scientist, I worked 29 years for chemical companies in the US and in Europe (5 years in Brussels), and finally at Computer Science Corporation on massive government projects. After becoming disabled, drugs did not help for 3 years. I discovered the power of the mind to heal and got myself well by talking to my cells. Dona and I are now both instructors for the International Hypnosis Federation where we teach others how to heal themselves from pain and illness without pharmaceuticals by using self-hypnosis and the power of their mind.
We love the spiritual energy of Bali and enjoy travelling there. Some of our furniture and decorative accessories are from Bali. We had a great airbnb experience with a family reunion in Louisiana, so we became airbnb hosts for when our place is available. Most days I work on my book "All-Powerful Mind, Guide to connecting to Source Inspiration, Healing & Manifestation."
