House is located on top of quite a steep the hill in a quiet neighborhood. The property was nice as well as the surrounding. Place itself was clean and neat. Location: We have two small kids and the grandparents stayed with us. The walk to the beach is down a steep hill and feels long if you have to carry stuff for the beach (we left the umbrellas and chairs there during the day) and the kids. So we drove down every day (there is a small parking lot just for the community). Beach was great and we loved it there especially if you have kids, its perfect, shallow waters and sand. Property: Property takes up to two cars. There is lots of treasures from different parts of the world, so it was nice to see all the stuff that Sergio collected. House is fairly well equipped. The kitchen is tiny but serves its purpose. We loved the fact the bedrooms were air-conditioned as it gets hot out there even at night. Views from the house are amazing and the roof top is great for glass of wine and just watch the sunrise or sunset. We had to watch our 3yo as there is not a secure fence/railing on the roof top just a chicken wire. There is a hammock outside next to a patio dining table which was nice. There was no fan in the living room so it was hot in there, but we spent majority time outside. The water at the house is not drinkable (according to Sergio) so bring your water when you arrive. We travelled with a 3yo and 9 mo old and Sergio was nice to provide a crib for us. I would love if there was also a baby gate available as this property has bedrooms upstairs and most of the times we spent time outside downstairs but we did our best to watch the little one after she went to bed. If you are traveling with older kids this is a great place. Host: Sergio is laid back nice guy that responded to our inquiries promptly and quickly. We would definitely recommend him to anyone. We were very happy with our choice and loved it there. We thank Sergio and we hope to be back. One thing that has us still laughing is that when we got there (11pm) we found the place without any toilet paper. When we asked Sergio whether there was any somewhere we were told they don't provide it. Well 4 adults 1 child and no TP, thankfully the infant is still in diapers and we had tissues to get us through till 9am the next morning. This kind of stuff makes you remember your vacation and create memories. ;-) So BOTP

Frankly, when we arrived here at night and into the next morning, our gut reaction was to look up the Airbnb cancellation policy and find a different place to stay. In spite of the positive reviews, the place looked 'used' and outdated; the furnishings were a bit tacky for our taste (e.g. lifesize image of a naked woman in upstairs shower) and very cluttered (drawers, shelves and cupboards full of random objects like DVDs, tools, whatever you can imagine...except for a second bedsheet, which we had to request and was delivered 2 days later); the downstairs bathroom was mostly storage and unkempt, and the shower was clogged (took over an hour to drain); the internet was limited to 5GB for our entire stay and would cost EUR20 to recharge (taking 24 hours to enact), without any way of tracking usage. Two things were holding us back from leaving: (i) we had just arrived and didn't want to waste holiday time searching and relocating, and (ii) Sergio had asked us to sign a separate rental contract, with a non-refundable clause. So we decided to stick with it and make the best out of it. Of course, the place is not ALL bad. The location, for example, is fantastic. It is only 200m from the beach (albeit down a relatively steep hill) with private beach parking; it certainly has the best views in the area, as it is perched on top of a hill, and the rooftop (more on this below) is an amazing viewpoint; it is private and secluded; and it is a great base for the surrounding area, especially Pula and Chia, but even Cagliari. In terms of the house itself, it is spacious, well-equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, all necessary kitchen items and some basic staples), the AC works well (at least in the master bedroom). Oh, and communication was great. Yet, after our stay, there is one main point we would like to reinforce, which is that this place has LOTS of potential yet it is clear that the money from rentals (and even the EUR 90 cleaning fee) is not well invested. It feels like you are staying at someone else's house while they are away, instead of a guesthouse for over EUR 200 a night. To add to the list above, many things we used in the kitchen needed to be washed/cleaned as there was a thin film of grease/dust, the living area had no fan, the rooftop only has one lounge chair and plastic chairs/table and no shade, making it unbearable during hot summer days (and even evenings), and even the information sheet was hardly legible anymore, and had very disorganized or unclear advice. Lastly, we mistakenly assumed from the reviews that there would be beach chairs and an umbrella at our disposal, but this was not the case - and we were told "to go buy a cheap umbrella for 10 Euros". Perhaps we are picky or have high standards, or were overly influenced by...

Wow........that is the longest, pickiest review we received so far.....what can I say, it seems like in the 7 nights you stayed you only bothered at finding negative aspect of the house rather than enjoying it!! Anyway, the interent download limit of 5 giga bites was comunicated to you on arrival and to recharge it, as said to you on arrival, only takes couple of hours not a day. 5 gigabites is heaps for most of our guests, to recharge it as I told you, just needed to contact me. The contract must be done by law here, so must be filled up sorry, the no refund clause after arrival if you want to shorten your stay is fair and common, because we have reserved the house for you for that period and could not give it to anyone else.... The shower has been fixed, as in any drain, if you come from the beach full of sand and go straight to the shower the drain (URL HIDDEN) common sense there is a must. Air conditioning works perfectly in all rooms (and not only in the master bedroom). The second sheet request (2 separate top sheets for a couple sleepping in the same bed seemed a bit of a weird request) arrived the second day of your arrival and was delivered the day after (not after 2 days after your request). The house is not an hotel but a private villa with its personality, that is the spirit of airB&B right? if you wanted an impersonal house you probably should have chosen an Hotel nearby via (URL HIDDEN) The roof is exactly as pictured in the photos, so not sure what you expected differently. We went through the information sheet point per point on arrival (it took me almost an hour to explain everything) and I ask you at the end if you had any questions you could call me or message me anytime, so I think the effort explaining to you everything was probably pointless (probably weren't paying attention when I was explaining??). Not sure what you are talking about the used things in the kitchen as they are cleaned after the guest checks out and checked before the new guest arrives...but, again, if there was any issue with that you should have told me and I would have come to check. The point is that you didn't like the place since arrival.....and all the grief came as a result of that....too bad. Next time choose more wisely.

Sergio's place was a lovely place to be based in Sardinia. Quiet and peaceful but close enough to beaches and restaurants and shops - with a car. The beach close to the house wasn't the best - this year in particular- it had a lot of deposits from the sea - however it was still good for a day or two if you don't feel like driving and it was easy to get to others. The house had everything you could need with great sea views and was very comfortable and relaxing. Sergio was very welcoming and helpful with tips.
