My apartment is also my home, which I take a lot of pride in. I enjoy hosting whenever I am out of town and want my guests to love it as much as I do. That being said, I try to keep it well decorated, provide necessary amenities, and keep it as clean as humanly possible.
I am extremely sorry to hear your allergies prevented you from fully enjoying your stay. My listing does say an animal is kept on the property. I will try to make this more clear going forward. I do keep it pet-hair free and vacuum lines on the sofa were visible when I left. I did purchase a new blanket for the bed and this was the first time it was washed and used. I noticed it shed quite a bit of fuzz and stuck to the black underside of the quilt. I’m wondering if you mistook this for pet hair? I am sincerely sorry if I did miss something. I messaged you a few times trying to make sure everything was ok, since I was unable to meet you in person. I never got a response. If there was something missed that needed additional cleaning, I would have happily sent someone over to take care of it.
All of my messages to you from the day of your arrival to the day you checked out went unanswered. I ended up communicating with your niece (someone that wasn’t even on the booking) and I left the keys with her because you preferred not to use a lockbox. Your unresponsiveness made me very uneasy and had me worried about my place the whole time. I also would have appreciated the keys left in the apartment as instructed. I had to make 2 attempts to retrieve them from your niece. I really don’t understand the reason for the low rating on communication.
As far as the coffee maker goes, nowhere in my listing does it say I have one. If you look at the list of amenities, a coffee maker is not selected. And as far as a bedside table goes, there clearly isn’t one in the photos of my listing. Sorry, you were disappointed to learn these are items I do not have. They are things I will consider adding in the future, but my listing was 100% accurate. Please read listing descriptions in their entirety before booking. I feel very undeserving of the low score you gave my listing and this can be very damaging to me as a host. Thank you for your stay.
