Our stay with Marie was fantastic! Really nice and helpful. Went beyond her duties as a host! Would recommend her to anyone for a beautiful stay in Traverse city!

Marie and Ted were wonderful hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and much more. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. The room and bathroom were comfortable and spacious, the house warm and welcoming. The deck was a lovely place to enjoy pie - YES! PIE! - or a late night snack. Don't forget to enjoy the dock on the bay across the street - beautiful sunsets and star-filled skies at night. Hope to go back!

Our hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. Their home is so lovely and comfy. Marie is a great cook and Ted is a wonderful source for local information. Ask him where to find the best cherry pies! Even though a huge storm came through and knocked out the power, Ted and Marie were very gracious and accommodating trying their very best to restore services to make us comfortable.

I am a social worker turned family law attorney. My husband, Ted, is a retired plastics engineer and builder. He built much of our house, which is now way too big for us, as our two daughters are grown. One daughter lives in Berkley, Michigan. The other daughter lives in Chicago, Illinois. We are originally from the Detroit area, but we went to high school in Traverse City. We love living in Traverse City!

Ted and I went to the same high school in Traverse City, and then followed each other to various colleges, before we finally started dating each other, 30 years later. I am a MSU Alum. Ted graduated from CMU.

My older daughter went to the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. My younger daughter attended Michigan State University, Loyola University, and the Adler Institute of Psychology. In short, we cheer for both U of M and MSU!
