The apartment is located in Ortakoy, which is an ideal spot to stay in Istanbul. You are a few minute walk to the Bosphorus, which spans the living room window. Very romantic at night! It is a brand new apartment centrally located.
The space is great! Centrally located so you can travel easily to Besiktas, Taksim, and Kadikoy, and head north to Bebek toward the Black Sea. The living room window overlooks the Bosphorus Bridge, which lights up every hour and is quite a sight. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, truly Turkish. No foreigners around but you are a short walk to Ortakoy which is very touristy. Hop on a short bus to Besiktas and catch a ferry to the Asian side. The apartment is perfectly located for travel and sightseeing, and perfectly suited for romantic nights afterwards.

Atención a los huéspedes
The quests will have the entire apartment. I will meet to give them the keys and be available if you have any questions or need help in any way.
Guests must like cats. We have two but they are super lovely and super low maintenance. Feed them twice a day and they are pretty much on their own after that. One of them will surely cuddle up with you on the couch while you watch tv or read a book. The other one is more independent.

I am an American teacher working at an international school in Istanbul. I am from Red Bank, New Jersey, where I worked as an English and Humanities teacher for eight years. I went to university in Boston, and I am currently completing my Masters from Drew University. I love to travel and experience different cultures; so far, I have lived in Boston, Paris, San Diego, and now Istanbul. I have traveled around Europe and the US, and I hope to continue my exploration of Europe in the coming years. As a guest, I am extremely neat and organized, quiet and respectful. I love to socialize, share a drink, and walk about town. My life motto (as asked by the Airbnb website) is Sapere Aude, or Have the courage to use your own reason. I like to carry this spirit with me wherever I travel.
