Located in Bungonia, two hours south of Sydney's CBD, and one hour north of Canberra. A private double room (with queen size double bed) in the farmhouse - come and enjoy the clean fresh air, beautiful views, and the peace and quiet of the country in a stunning rural setting.
You will be staying in a double room with a queen sized double bed with views over the vineyard to the creek beyond. There is a shower bathroom for your use, and breakfast is taken in the farmhouse.
The property is 100 acres, and comprises a number of different features. We are situated on the site of an extinct volcano, and are bounded on one side by the Bungonia Creek. We have the ruins of the old "Hit or Miss Inn" (c 1832) located in one of our paddocks.
Disponible para huéspedes
All guests have unlimited access to the 100 acres that comprise our property. Spend time walking along the creek, exploring the paddocks - meet our curious cattle, or feeding the fish in our aquaponics system. There are even kittens to pet!
Enjoy a wine tasting on the verandah overlooking the view, take a stroll through the vineyard, or (in winter) sit by the fire and warm your toes.
Atención a los huéspedes
Depending on your level of interest in permaculture, you can enjoy the property just as a bed and breakfast, or you can take the opportunity to observe and participate in many of the activities involved in our holistic management / permaculture lifestyle, and you can ask as many questions as you can think of.
• Collecting eggs, harvesting vegetables, planting seedlings etc;
• Managing the vineyard, moving the cows, and feeding the chickens;
• There will also be plenty of free time to relax.
You are welcome to relax on the deck, enjoy the country air, stroll around the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet – hopefully rested, rejuvenated and better informed in some of the delights of a life in the country.
If you would like to participate in any of the activities, please enquire about this when booking and give us some advance notice (ie at least 2 weeks).
