The galley kitchen is fully equipped for basic food preparation, with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery supplied. Basic supplies of tea, coffee and sugar are provided. There is a front loading Miele washing machine plus Iron and Ironing Board. The kitchen and laundry facilities are shared by the two studios at these premises. If you are coming to Newtown to cook and an exclusive kitchen is important – then Hollis is probably not for you. But for casual visitors who want to enjoy the huge variety of eating experiences on offer in Newtown this could be your answer. Store a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge, make a cup of tea in the morning and give yourself a break from slaving over a hot stove. Newtown will not disappoint you – whether you are a dedicated foodie or simply happy to have someone else cook for you for a change.

A sassy senior. Well travelled, well read and I've been an innkeeper for over 40 years - from backpackers in London to stylish and contemporary apartments here in Sydney. Favourite travel destinations - Sri Lanka, France, The Maldives, New York City and any place I've yet to visit.
I travelled overland from Sydney to London in the 70's across the Old Hippy Route so i've worn out a bit of shoe leather and managed, remarkably, to visit Burma, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Iran and all those hot spots that are now less accessible. With so much in life, it's all a matter of timing.
