This was a wonderful experience. Jane and Andy are the most accommodating hosts imaginable. There was wine on arrival, firewood for the woodstove, and even worms for trout fishing. The cabin is exactly as described and shown on the website. It is private, right by the lake, and it comes with a private wharf and canoe. It is surprisingly spacious and extremely well equipped with kitchen utensils and basic supplies. It is comfortable, functional and cozy. The neighbourhood consists of a few cottages that are barely visible, and the nights are exceptionally quiet. We spent our days paddling along the shores of Nimpo Lake, swimming in nearby Charlotte Lake (gorgeous sandy beach and crystal clear water), and just enjoying the peace and quiet. There is plenty to see and do in this part of the Chilcotin, including a day trip to Bella Coola. We will definitely come again, but next time will be longer.

Wonderful Cabin on a lake in the middle of nowhere. Fully kitted out with everything we needed for our stay. Shower bathroom and full kitchen made getting away from all the distractions easy and comfortable. The canoe came in handy puttering around on the lake checking out the islands and just enjoying the calm waters. Loons sung us to sleep most nights. Nimpo Lake and Anahim Lake both within 15 min drive meant no troubles with groceries. A couple restaurants in the area meant when we didn't feel like cooking we could go out. Though it was bright and sunny our entire visit when it got a bit to warm out there was Satellite TV, some books and a DVD player to pass the time. The WiFi had some limitations due to the remote nature of the cabin it was more than enough to check email and do basic web surfing. No cellular coverage anywhere but the email access meant just removed enough to relax but not so much I felt like I couldn't be contacted if needed. Jane was a great host and provided everything we needed and more. Friendly and welcoming meant we felt like we were at home.

Jane was most helpful and came right to the cabin despite our late arrival. She provided lots of local information and made every effort to make us comfortable. The cabin is pleasant and the beds comfortable. It was still too muddy for some biking we wanted to do, but the wild horses made interesting photography subjects, as did the pelicans.

We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful log cabin on the lakeside, with private dock, firepit, BBQ and canoe. It is so unbelievably quiet there, with only the sounds of the loons. If you are lucky you'll see some wild horses! The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchenware and they provide loads of blankets, towels, etc. Really peaceful and ideal for people who want to get away from it all in a beautiful natural setting!

The cabin is very private, clean and well equipped. It was a great size for the three of us. The lake is beautiful, great for boating and fishing. The hosts were very helpful but also let us have lots of privacy. The location was great, store and restaurant nearby and we visited the coast and Tweedsmuir park as well. There are hiking trails from the cabin too.

AJ B2B was the best B2B on our 3 Week Roundtrip through BC. It's a lovely little house directly at the lake. The house has everything you need and we had the chance to go kayaking the whole day and before breakfast. Just an amazing quite place with many wild animal sounds at night! And the breakfast was just awesome! Thanks again for a great stay!

Jane and Andy live on a peninsula on Nimpo Lake in British Columbia surrounded on three sides by water and spectacular views of three mountain ranges. We love the outdoors and taking pictures of our amazing bird and wildlife population. We hike, ATV, snowmobile, cross country ski and snowshoe in the winter. We love camp fires in summer and bonfires in winter and regularly invite our neighbours over for a fire and wiener roast. Few days go by that we don't take our dogs on a three mile walk unless it's high summer, in which case you'll find us working all day around our 5 acre yard. Occasionally we have time to go out fishing.

We are both active in the community and we look after our neighbours winter and summer. I build and maintain websites, work from my home with my computer graphics business, and regularly write a blog about the region we live in. We both like people and I love cooking so operating a Bed and Breakfast in the summer is something we really enjoy.
