The Wicklund house is a beautiful home built by Lee himself. You can tell he really cares about the house and everyone who stays there. He would make an effort to talk with and get to know any of the tenants. Anita is so nice as well. I came to Seattle during a heat wave and it was very warm but Anita made a point to give me a cold water whenever she could. The wifi was also incredibly awesome and they have parking for around 5 cars which is extremely nice and gives you peace of mind for your vehicle at night. Although the neighborhood is far from bad at all. Quite the opposite actually. I appreciate the effort that Lee and Anita took to make me feel welcome and for saving me from staying in a depressing hotel!

I had great time staying with Lee and Anita. The place is clean and welcoming and they were great hosts. I enjoyed talking with them over the delicious breakfast that Anita made. I would definitely come again once I needs great accommodation in fair price neat Seattle.

Lee and Anita keep a very lovely home, and you can be assured your stay here will be comfortable. The room was cleaned very nicely when I arrived and had just about enough room for one lightly packed traveller (there are other options available in the house if you need to accommodate more people or are looking for a larger room - just make sure to reserve early, because those rooms do book up fast!) I found access to the nearby stores for groceries very easy on foot, and there is a bus stop conveniently located behind the house to take you towards Northgate Mall. There's plenty of street parking available as well for anyone looking to rent a car. I enjoyed both Lee's and Anita's company, but also felt that I had enough privacy and comfort in my room when I wanted to do my own thing. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Certainly an interesting house! Everything was laid out for me and explained. There was plenty of off street & secured parking. As describe, I had a private room on the main floor with the bathroom directly accoss.

The house is run more like a youth hostel than a bnb. The downstairs is broken into several rooms with shared bathrooms, and a communal kitchen. It was quiet at night.
