What an amazing place this was for us to stay! It felt like living in a museum, in a good way. It was so quiet and peaceful, after some of the other cities full of tourists and so on. Nothing but the sounds of nature. It was very rustic, with romantic ruins on the property, but had everything you need. Even a waterfall and plunge pool, which I made use of. Communication was great with Ruth and Jack, who manages the property for her. I would advise you not to bring large suitcases that you find it hard to carry, as there is about a 100-200m walk over rough ground to get from the parking place to the house. You definitely need a car, as Grazalema is about 6 km away. All part of its charm!

The house was simply beautiful and the surrounds quiet and very relaxing. There were goats, and the waterfall was full of Spring run-off. In all, it was the perfect place to spend a few days. And Grazalema, the nearest town, is stunning! The place was clean and tidy, and communications were fast and friendly. Thanks for a great stay.

Habiter dans un ancien moulin est une belle expérience. L'emplacement de la maison est superbe (entouré de la nature, bercé par le ruissellement de l'eau de la rivière). Maison à recommander pour les amoureux de l'authenticité et de la nature.

A great place to stay! We stayed at the watermill for 3 nights, although the weather was not great, the place was beautifull and there were lots of flowers. We heated the fireplace every night with the wood that was provided by John. There are lots of walkig opportunities and nice places to visit or just relax and enjoy the birds and the waterfall.

We had a wonderful stay here - the mill is beautifully converted and full of character, but also very comfortable. The setting is idyllic and the waterfall / river pool an absolute delight to cool off in. We will definitely be back - preferably in the cooler months to allow more walking in the mountains.
