Secluded and quiet yet easy access to main roads , with a host of activities to suit all ages and abilities . Accessible with provision for the partially sighted, those with hearing issues and limited mobility. Inspected and graded by the NAS [National Accessibility Scheme]
Tucked away in idyllic countryside with splendid views over the unspoiled rolling hills of Herefordshire, on the edge of the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The  newly converted 17C barn; seamlessly blend traditional charm with modern convenience to ensure comfort and tranquillity. Set in 12 acres of organic grasslands with ancient trees and hedges the 3 cottages sleep 2, 4 and 2 and can be linked together.  Children and pets welcome.

In a quiet and secluded location at the end of a 450-meter private drive with wonderful views over the Garron Valley and beyond. The three cottages can be booked individually or interlinked for larger parties.
 It can be linked with Bramble’s Barn, via two internal fire resistant  doors
There are  hardwood floors with under floor,  toasty toes  heating,  an en-suite ,with  shower, toilets and ventilation heat recovery systems. Safety features are as recommended by the Fire Brigade.

The laundry room is wheelchair accessible, with quality washing and drying facilities and storage space.

Children are welcome and free to roam. Highchairs and cots are provided free of charge. Toys and games are available.
Large HD Smart TVs with free, Wi-Fi and Freeview. Blu-ray players and stereo systems with iPod dock are available for relaxing indoors.
Dogs are provided with a welcome pack and able to run and play within the 12 acres of enclosed fields. There is a  walled patios, safe for children and small dogs.

Eating in or out:
The three kitchens are fully fitted with new quality equipment; Bramble’s Barn also has a steamer.
Barbecues are available for al-fresco dining on the patios.
Woods of Whitchurch can cook on site or supply anything from snacks to dinner parties. Freshly made homemade pizzas and fish & chips are also available.   Woods will offer a 15% discount offered on their quality take away foods to our guests. 
The Royal Arms – less than one mile distant is a firm favourite, they offer good county fare and our guests are offered a 10% discount on food. The Royal Arms is a firm favourite not just with our guests but also their dogs.
 The Old Court in Whitchurch with its Tudor dining room. Further afield we have an eclectic mix of pubs, restaurants and cafés.

The Surrounding Land:
It is believed the 12-acre site has been occupied since Saxon times. The property is within an ancient field system with mature trees and hedges, which abound with wildlife. Red kites frequent, owls have based themselves in the Sheep Barn, flycatchers, swallows and others return most years. Wake up to birdsong, not traffic.

Activities:
The Wye Valley has evidence of human activity for over 12,000 years and became England’s first tourist destination. It started with boat trips in 1745, which are still available. Notable visitors included: Thackeray, Wordsworth, Turner and Nelson.

Walking, canoeing, cycling, shooting, archery, climbing, forest trail and mountain biking, sagway are readily available. As is ‘Go Ape’ – treetop activities, bush-craft and many others.
PGL offer summer camps for children. You can join in more relaxing activities: ride on the steam train, or try your hand at photography, basketwork. Enjoy river trips and watch, cheese & cider making, and ancient flour milling. Chepstow Races are close by and Cheltenham Races less than an hour away.

Places to Visit:
Places to visit include: Tintern Abbey, Hereford and Gloucester Cathedrals. Castles at: Raglan, Chepstow, Skenfrith, Goodrich and Cardiff. Hereford .
Waterworks Museum and Tyrell’s Distillery are well worth a visit.
For a day out visit The Dean Heritage Centre, Gloucester Docks, or Cardiff for the Docks and St’ Fagin’s Open Air Folk Museum. Hellene’s reputed to be one of the oldest houses in the country is close by. Superb views from Symond’s Yat, The Kymin and May Hill, the Cotswold’s and Black Mountains. Visit gardens in the area, which include Lydney Park Spring Garden, Hampton Court and Dewstone.
In short, there’s something for everyone.

We are within an The Wye Valley ANOB [ Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty] and on the edge of the Ancient Forest of Dean.
The Wye Valley was the first area to offer package holidays in the early 18C, a favourite with painters and writers including Wordsworth, Byron, Turner ,Coleridge Alexander Pope and Thackeray.
Lord Nelson was a frequent visitor to the Kymin
The first inhabitants were here over 12,000 years ago, followed by arrivals such as the Romans , the Normans [ who built a string of castles.]
The magical Puzzle Wood is renowned as a film venue: Star Wars, Harry Potter and Home off Thrones were set there .
The area is known as "The Place , Which Time Forgot", unspoilt quiet and relaxed.
For the more active visitor we have "Go Ape" a tree top experience, Archery, canoeing, walking, cycling in the Forest, climbing and caving.
There are castles to visit [ Goodrich is but 5 miles distant] . Gloucester Quays , Hereford Cathedral with it's world famous Mapa Mundi,
