Sara's parents kindly welcomed my friend and I in the apartment in Muro and took the time to show us around and give us advice for our stay. They had even prepared a little basket with vegetables & herbs from their garden which we found adorable! Even though the road to Muro is long and winding, the road directions Sara had given us enabled us to find it straight away. Muro in itself is a lovely little hamlet located 40min walking up Vernazza, in a very peaceful and quiet area. Overall, we had a fantastic time in this very unique place and will definitely recommend it! We didn't get to meet Sara but she was always prompt to answer our questions by email and give us good tips.

As noted by others, the apartment is lovely with beautiful views in a tiny village over Vernazza. Despite us being excessively late, Sara's parents were there to welcome us and were lovely and extremely helpful! We have two small children who loved being in the apartment as well, and playing with the villagers' visiting grandchildren. We initially booked for two weeks, but reduced it to one as the roads in and out of the village are very, very windy and narrow and we are all (as it turns out) prone to car sickness.

The apartment is located in a perfectly quiet location with a good view and great sunsets in Muro Inferiore about 25 minutes walking from Vernazza. The place is newly renovated and everything in excellent conditions. The hosts are friendly, help you with everything you ask for. We even received fresh fruits from the garden as a little welcome. We can fully recommend this place to everyone who is travelling by car. Using train or public transportation to get there is possible but not very convenient, but as a benefit of the bit remote location you will not by disturbed by other tourists, noise or traffic.

Sara and her family made us feel very welcome, and were very sweet about our late arrival. Sara was unable to meet us when we arrived, but her parents waited for us and helped us with our car and our bags when we did finally arrive. They showed us around the cute apartment, and left us with some fresh herbs and delicious tomatoes from the garden outside. The apartment seems very newly renovated, and was wonderfully clean, with everything you could need for a short stay. There were a few basic kitchen ingredients, like some coffee, sugar, and salt, but not much else, so we did have to do some careful planning and shopping for some meals, but that made our stay more personal, as we had to go into town to shop and interact with locals at markets that we would not normally have had a reason to enter. The views from the terrace were amazing, as the house is perched on a mountain, and we took advantage of the fresh, cool air, and the stunning view as often as we could. Since we had a car, we were able to make it home by sunset most nights, which I recommend, as the road to the apartment is narrow and twisty, but after a few trips to Vernazza and back, we learned the road and were able to travel Senza Paura! The location is perfect if you want the best of mountains and sea. We loved our stay in teeny, tiny Muro Inferiore. We even got to know a neighbor's sweet dog! When we left, Sara and her family helped us with directions on getting to our next destination, with a really great suggestion for a lovely stop along the way - something we would not have know about and would probably have passed right by - that turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the trip! They were very charming and lovely hosts.

I'm 23 and I live and work in Milan, but when I have time, especially in the weekend, I go back to the beautiful Cinque Terre where my family live. Me and my parents restored the granny's house, located in small hamlet over Vernazza, called Muro.

I really love travel, write, read good books in a silent place, and dance. I have studied classic ballet for mor then ten years.
