This guest never explained to us that there were any issues with the apartment at all. We ask all of our guests to sign a rental agreement, as Air BnB is not very host friendly and if something were to happen in the apartment, such as things being stolen, any type of occupancy overage, or just plain negligence by our guests, we have to have a picture ID of the occupants of the unit (we found this out the hard way when a guest stole a television out of our place and we reported it to Air BnB and we were not only never compensated, but asked why we didn't have the guests sign a rental agreement and take a copy of their ID's and file a police report!). With regards to someone knocking on the door, this is the first time we've ever heard anything of the such and the guest never ever brought it to our attention so I don't actually know what happen on that front. The manual may have been inside the fridge because it was a brand new refrigerator we purchased for the apartment and had it delivered by the property manager right before the guests arrived. We apologize for this. Also, for late August early September we didn't have heavy blankets on the beds, only thiner ones but we also send all our guests the number to our unit manager in our check in instructions and explained that if you needed anything, we would be sure accommodate. You never called us. The curtains for the apartment are custom made for the apartment and could have been hung for you if you would have liked them but many guests appreciate the natural light that comes in from the large bay windows so they weren't on the windows when you came. If you would have called our unit manager, or had just sent us a message, we would have surely been able to make your stay a lot more comfortable. We do apologize that your stay was less than enjoyable but hope you did enjoy your visit to Brooklyn.
